At EcoClean Roof, we pride ourselves on providing a roof washing service that is not only effective but also environmentally friendly. Serving the North Chicagoland area, we utilize safe, sustainable ingredients instead of harmful chemicals. This commitment ensures the protection of your plants and animals while delivering a spotless roof. Choose us for a cleaner home and a healthier planet. After brushing off loose dirt and moss from your roof, your gutters will be cleaned at no additional cost. Contractors can sometimes charge $200+ for this service alone. We then spray on a soft wash solution to the entire roof that removes brown, yellow, green, and black stains. Soft washing was invented to replace pressure washing, which was found to cause streaks, damage paint, and tears the circular granules off the roof shingle surface. Shingle granules are designed to provide grip, fire prevention, and snow dissipation. An alternative needed to be created. Although soft washing was the solution that was developed to replace pressure washing, traditional chemicals like diluted Bleach and Chlorine were used.
