"We had quite a complicated patio project. Our patio is on a steep hill and we wanted the top of the hot tub to be level with the patio. Because of the terrain, it was determined that the entire project needed to be hand dug for fear the bobcat would flip on the steep hill. In addition, no access to the patio to be poured so a pump truck was needed to get the concrete to the area. The workers killed themselves each day hand digging and preparing the site. Flavio, with his engineering background, mastered this project like no other company in the area could. He was very visible stopping by at least once daily to assure the project was completed to Maxima standards. The Maxima team of Paul, Adam, Lyre and many more were so great. Communication was professional and a text or call was always returned. I advise anyone seeking concrete work to use this company but keep in mind that concrete is a weather related business. Be patient if things aren't done exactly on your timeline and know that the quality work Maxima produces is worth the wait."

"These guys are great! Couldnâ t be happier with their work. I had them come out to do a late fall yard clean up including leaf removal, final mow, and edging. It made such a difference. They were very easy to work with. Highly recommend!"

"I am very, very very happy with the work of Jeff and his team. They worked very hard to complete our project while working within our budget. The final patio came out better than we expected. I will definitely use Fribel's in the future and would encourage others to do so as well."

"A Treemendous Design is a wonderful company to partner with on any outdoor project. We’ve never had any contractor respond in a timely manner - until now. Nor have we had a contractor work so closely with us - until now. They worked on our landscaping design; made thoughtful suggestions regarding plant material that would fit our style and budget. They really listened to our questions and came up with great ideas for our landscaping project. Steve Beck and his crew delivered top-notch customer service! Ultimate professionals! We will definitely call them again."

The average cost of an outdoor kitchen is around $15,500. However, since outdoor kitchens are highly customizable, you could spend anywhere from $5,000 to over $50,000 for your setup. Some important factors that can affect your pricing include the size of the kitchen, the materials you use—specifically for the countertop—the type of grill you want, and any add-on products you want coupled with your installation.
No, even if you have a vague idea of what you want, it’s a good idea to reach out to a contractor that specializes in outdoor kitchens for assistance. Professionals who have constructed kitchens for other homeowners can not only help you think about the functionality and convenience of your outdoor space—which many homeowners neglect—but they can also help you choose high-quality, durable materials that meet your budget and match the rest of your outdoor space. In fact, it’s often better to contact a contractor and get the ball rolling before you have a solidified plan for your outdoor kitchen.
Yes, outdoor kitchens usually deliver around a 50% ROI in terms of home value. This is lower than some home improvement projects, but combined with the utility you enjoy yourself, most homeowners find it well worth the investment. The specific bump in property value you’ll see from your outdoor kitchen depends on the size and quality, as well as how much usable yard space it takes up.
In many cases, you will not need permits to install an outdoor kitchen because it’s not usually considered a permanent structure and doesn’t require a foundation. If you run natural gas lines to a grill, plumbing lines to an outdoor sink, or electrical lines for lighting and power, your contractor will likely need to pull permits.
However, every municipality is different, so you should defer to a professional outdoor kitchen contractor to confirm which portions of your outdoor kitchen project require building permits.
