He also pointed out short cuts others had taken and things to look out for in the future. I really appreciated how he put things into laymans terms and explained everything thoroughly.
Material arrived on Friday 9/5/2014. Paid half of contract price.
Rain prevent start until Mon. 9/8/2014. Four man Crew arrived 8am and immediately began work.
Removed sections of old 30x30 foot garage roof with drip edge and check sheathing. Were well equipped for task having proper tools and know-how.
Workers seemed to be Hispanic and only spoke to each other in Spanish. Communication with only one person in English. This was not a problem. They each seemed to have a job and went about it with little or no discussion about what was to be done. They finished the job and left the area clean, magnetically sweeping the area for metallic debris.
I was a little skeptical about how the joining of the garage roof to the main building roof would work. After observing how they took care of the task, I have little doubt it will work. The procedure seemed to follow all the research I had done concerning membrane roof installation on the internet and conversations with friends and neighbors.
This job was a bit unusual it that it was a nearly flat 30x30 foot roof joined to a 30x60 foot Armco Steel Building constructed in 1956.The roof joined one side of the main building and had leakage problems for at least 30 years where the two buildings met. Several roofers had tackled the job before with limited to no success.
I have know Frye Roofers since 1955 when the original owners were in Bluefield. The present company seem to be carrying on a tradition of quality workmanship and professionalism. I have more confidence in this job at this site than any approach any other roofers have attempted with this unique problem. Paid in full 9/9/2014. Contract contained MANY loops found along the construction phase which left room for deception in quality work and materials specified. Although the contracts are actually draw sheet you don't get to see your discussed plans before he begins apparently, only AFTER the project is started. When you set down the owner and draw up what you want to go to HIS engineer for design, make CERTAIN you ask for copy or you'll later get a blank stare or excuse as to why there isn't one. All along when you complain you didn't want a certain thing they do, your asked for more cash to get what YOU wanted and told them to do in the beginning! Asked for specifics to be built and was not given what was agreed upon. The project at completion was build to CONTRACTOR WANTS and specifications ONLY, NOT CLIENTS specifications WANTS OR NEEDS. Contractor used the cheapest materials he could find to complete this project although client had paid for high end quality materials and work. Quality in work was very poor and some things had to be done over as they were just so poorly completed. Drywall for example looked like a bunch of grade schools were let loose with crayons. Half of the fixtures were either extremely CHEAP QUALITY or appeared to be either USED from a previous customers project or purchased as low end seconds. Paid materials disappeared from the job site location too or had possibly been switched out for cheaper materials as suspected. Although Company TRIED to match and failed what had been purchased by client to be installed. Client then discovers the old switch method of switching high end materials for low end and trying to deceive their client. This company is horrible in personal opinion. Over-priced for what you paid for and then receive. Buyer beware also, in this state you cannot let an employee be your Notary if YOUR company. This company used their own employee as the Notary on their papers it was discovered way too late. I doubt these practices are legal what this company is doing. I highly recommend anyone to steer clear of this company for commercial anyway. I don't know about a residential job though honestly. The owner of this construction company NEEDS to be more involved in what his employees are doing and to make certain those he hires really do KNOW what their doing. This company is not worth the cost in terms of quality at all from what my company owners noticed. Given our past experience with the company, we did not hesitate to select them to complete our bathroom remodel. We contacted Eddie Keller on April 1 of this year and he actually came out the very next day to take a look at the space and prepare to do an estimate. He was quickly able to prepare an estimate and provide suggestions of ways we could enhance the space without leaving our price points. We agreed on a price and he said it would be several weeks on a start date but in the meantime to be selecting the tiles for the floor/walls, paint colors, vanity, fixtures, toilet, etc. My husband and I shopped around at Lowes and Home Depot and provided Eddie with the item numbers of everything he needed for our remodel. We were excited when our start date ended up being moved up a few weeks and the project actually began only two weeks from our initial meeting. The first few days were devoted to delivering materials, demolition and removal of the old fixtures/flooring, and preparing to work on the new plumbing and electrical systems. The plumbing and rewiring of electrical work was completed and then the new drywall was put up and the bathtub placed. Tiling of the shower walls was completed next and then work began on the new tile floor. The new drywall was primed and then painted and then the vanity, medicine cabinet, and toilet were installed. The area was completed with new baseboards and new doors were installed/painted as well. Once this bathroom was completed, they made small improvements to our other bathroom at our request including new baseboards, installing the toilet removed from the other bathroom, repairing a damaged doorway, and rewiring the medicine cabinet/installing a switch for it. During this time, it should be noted that the two gentlemen completing the work (Darvin and Paul) arrived on time, were always kind and courteous, and took extra care not to create additional messes in other living areas of our home. They laid drop cloths upon arriving and put everything away at the end of each day. They even helped me carry in groceries (on several occasions!)!!! Darvin left us with his personal cell phone number in case we experienced any issues with the plumbing/electrical. Eddie was always very responsive to any texts/phone calls as well and was quick to cure any issues that came up during the whole process."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/wv/huntington/secure-construction-company-inc-reviews-1934217.htm"},"position":10}]}

FAQs for tv mount installation projects in Lavalette, WV
The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
If your TV antenna is good quality and was installed by a professional, you can expect it to last between 10 and 20 years without needing repair or replacement. This can vary based on your geographic location, weather conditions, and antenna location.
The cost to repair your TV antenna is around $200 for the average homeowner. However, charges could be as low as $60 or as high as $450. Factors such as multidirectional or unidirectional, indoor or outdoor, and amplified or non-amplified all play an essential role in determining the cost of your repair. For example, outdoor antennas cost more on average to repair than indoor ones, much like amplified antennas cost more to repair than unamplified ones.
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
Before your TV antenna stops working, there are a few ways to tell it’s starting to break. Some common signs that your antenna needs repair include:
A repetitive “no signal” issue
A redundant “searching” issue
Increased signal issues during a cloudy or rainy day
A sudden drop in signal strength, regardless of the weather
If you’re experiencing these problems, you’ll want to ensure that your cables are still in good shape and have not deteriorated. In addition, check to make sure that your cables are firmly in place at the wall outlet. Finally, check the position of your antenna to ensure there are no obstructions in its path. If you’ve checked your antenna thoroughly and are still having these problems, a repair is most likely needed by an antenna technician.
