He was a dream to work with: great communication/response time and scheduling (even though I live nearly an hour away) He arrived as scheduled-two days before Christmas even-ready to get to work. He immediately corrected three projects done (sub-standardly) by the previous person I hired. Mr. Workman corrected poorly hung Roman shades on a picture window, replaced a ceiling fan, corrected an improperly installed TV mount, replaced a bathroom light fixture and faucet, and even fixed a broken utility light bulb stem above the stove, on his way out the door! "The first tech could not do the job due to an extreme allergy to my cats. So the 2nd tech from Church Services was dispatched, he arrived the next day. (NOTE: I had expressed urgency because the circuit was on the refrigerator. Physically I could not move the refrigerator in order to plug in a temporary extension cord) The short was located & receptacle replaced.NOW comes the issue: It was my understanding that "Service Call Fee" of $45 was what I was expected to pay and because I have the Total Plan, I would NOT responsible for any additional fees ( "If we can't repair it, we'll replace it" from CHW TV ad). The tech insisted (rather condescendingly) that I pay additional $ for the work performed. He did not give me a receipt. When I asked for one, he said he would send by e-mail, He didn't. I tried to call the 24/7 phone number ...NO ONE ANSWERED."

"THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH STARS IN HEAVEN TO SAY HOW WONDERFUL MR. ADKINS AND HIS CREW WERE TO US!!!!! OnJuly 1st. There was a very bad storm in Mason Co,. And we were without electricity for 7 hours. During that time the loss of power ruined our bladder tank in our well house. My husband and I have been using a well that his family dug probably in the 40's when they built the house. We have been without water since July 1st. So we decided to put in city water. We paid for the tap and the city of Point Pleasant water office said for us to find a contractor to install the line. They said " just go to a hardware store and they will probably know of someone who can do it." We went to 2. No luck. A lot of contractors are swamped with work and we were told it would be weeks before they could get time to do it. So after much prayer God sent Mr. Adkins and his crew!!!!! There are not enough words to describe the great level of professionalism and the quality of work is nothing short of perfect!!!! After describing our problem, Mr. Adkins moved his schedule around and placed us on an emergency status and came here at 9 am and by 4pm I now have running water in my home!!! IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!! DO NOT HIRE ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!!"
