Nothing was labeled and any breaker box which the inspector should have caught and didn't, and breakers are put in which don't make a lot of sense. My husband had to redo some things. I would be afraid to put anything on the one wall where the electrical is because they were supposed to have bundled that and condensed it instead of having it just loose, which is also when they were told by doing the breaker box that was never done. So there's a lot of loose wires all over, so I can't put a rack or anything on that wall. They could have done what the inspector had wanted them to do, bundle those wires and label the box.

The service was not very good. I asked them to fix my fan. There were two fans that had a problem. They fixed one that was for the locker room. I used to have a remote control and they just took out the remote control to directly connect it making it worse because it's not working like it's supposed to be. They tried, but it didn't work. They charged extra. They charged me for the time they spent on the road. They did the service was done early June.
I bought the service for $100 and they charged me another $135. They charged me the commute fee. I am not very happy about this thing where they charged me extra, I don't know what they call it. It's like they charged me to come here. They didn't tell me that when they made an appointment, they never told me anything about this charge. I didn't want to argue with them because it was just $40 or something like that.
The service itself took about one hour or more and cost about $90 or something so they added they commute fee. The price was okay, but it is the commute fee that surprised me. I don't feel happy about the commute fee that they charged without telling me. They were late a little bit. I would not use their services again in the future.

It went very well. Their contractor, Russ, sent me a detailed list of electrical matters that I had asked for, and he also included photos, which was very helpful. I will soon hire him via DJ to complete the work he has proposed.

The engineer from the company came by to inspect my residence and schedule the work. The company indicated my power panel met the requirements and that my the job could proceed per the Angie's list offer (which I had already paid for). When the installer came by to install the suppressor, they indicated my house was not grounded and that would be required to proceed. Although I was not confident my house was actually not grounded, because I was directing the job from out of state, I had no choice but to add the grounding job at additional cost, to this project so we could proceed.
The job, including the grounding was done very professionally and efficiently. The fact the company alerted me to this potentially lethal fault in my system prior to proceeding leads me to conclude this vendor is very through and views the customer's safety as highest priority. So although I had concerns this extra work might not be warranted (since the total job cost 3 times the original project plan to simply replace the surge suppressor), at the end of the day I am now confident that I have a great surge suppressor and a well grounded house that is safe for my family and visitors to enjoy.

I asked for a quiet fan, they never came to see the job before hand or asked me to measure anything. The fan they brought was too big for the location. i had to go to the hardware store 2 blocks away to purchase a fan myself that would fit in the space, and it ended up being the same exact model I already had, noisy and small. Only being newer it does not rattle as the old one

"Thank you for purchasing a Big Deal with us. The reason we could not fit the larger fan, which is usually no problem, was due to the ceiling and pipe location in your condo bathroom. There was no room to cut in order for us to make a larger space for the fan we had originally purchased for you. In regards to going to the store yourself, you were looking to save money and told Russ you would go buy one so not to incur the trip charge if we were to go for you. Although, out of a courtesy, Russ did accompany you to the store anyway to show you which fan you needed to buy. Due to the way your condo is built, there was only one kind of fan that would work. We tried our best to install a quiet, updated fan in your bathroom but unfortunately the issue with the pipe and space was out of our hands. We do appreciate your business and hope you will consider us again in the future!"

When I bought the deal, I submitted photos of my electric panel to confirm that DJ Electric could install the surge protector. I was told that they could, and as a worst case scenario I'd have to buy 2 additional breakers for $70. Michele in the office was very nice with scheduling the service. We set up a 9 am appointment at my house. Frank the technician arrived at 9:30 am. There was a bit of trouble installing the new breaker for the surge protector, and I questioned fitment. Overall, Frank was very nice, but at this point of the install, it took a few times of me mentioning that the breaker didn't look like it would fit the panel to get him to stop trying to pound it into place. Eventually, Frank tied the surge protector into an existing breaker in the panel, and there were no additional costs incurred.

"Thank you for choosing us as your electrical contractor. We are very well versed in mounting TV's, in fact this is something we do quite often. The deal you purchased with Angie's List did not cover the installation you wanted to have done for the corner mount, so we did know how to do the work it was just beyond the scope of the deal and would have been an additional amount. In regards to the bracket price, we do charge a trip fee when purchasing materials for our customers which covers gas, drive time and labor fees. Unfortunately we can not shop for our customers for free as it costs us to do so. We do appreciate you purchasing our services and taking the time to review our company."
