"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"Ordered two cords from this company...it measured a cord and a half after stacking it. Many of the pieces were much shorter then the stated 16" length...they ranged from 12"-14". Also there was quite a bit of rot in the two cords he delivered. Someone local had recommended him. And I really wouldn't want to use anyone else now. Rick is professional, courteous, reliable, honest, very experienced. I've scheduled annual cleanings since that first, and when the chimney didn't need it, he let me know it was clean and didn't charge me. He could have just gone through the motions and taken my money, and he didn't! That is something you don't get very often in this world. At some point I know we'll probably need to have maintenance done on the wood stove, and I'll go back to him for that, too. I have absolute confidence in his expertise. Being patient with scheduling service is worth it. This isn't a big business with a lot of employees, there is just one man, and he can get very, very busy. It can take a little while to get a call back sometimes in the busy season, but he also supplies an email address which he suggests using for follow-up in his voice mail. Considering how often calls can get dropped when you think you're leaving a message in this rural, mountainous area, emails as a follow up are probably a good thing."
