"We hired Ed over a year ago through our general contractor. He came to the house and bid the project based on our stone selection and size of the project. He has still not completed the work and is paid in full. He does nice work but never came to the job site. He promised to have the job done by September of 2021. We are still waiting for Ed to come back."

Porcelain is a relatively affordable, mid-range countertop. It’s less expensive than other popular materials, including quartz, slate, concrete, and marble. You can expect it to take three to four days to fully install a kitchen backsplash—most of the time, waiting for the mortar and grout to dry. The actual process of putting up tiles is relatively quick. You’ll spend a fair amount of time laying out the tiles, ensuring they’re perfectly aligned. Also, if you have to remove the current backsplash, that will also add time to your project.
