"I was contacted by a Tech at the assigned time and had to run to the store for a cable I needed. When I called back, I had a different Tech, but he was able to continue right where I had left off. There was no need to explain anything again. Awesome."

"There were many things wrong in my computer (my fault and letting grandchildren on computer) Robert was so helpful, gave me many good instructions to keep everything safe, which I have written down, feel like I have a new computer. He was so excellent and experienced, took his time and was meticulous about what needed to be done. He was a pleasure to work with and I will use this company again! Linda Disy"

"I called because my pottery kiln was not working, I thought it was just a problem with my breaker.  I was wrong! After checking power in my studio I found out that half of my studio was not getting power and my 220 outlet were only putting out 110 power(not Good)
I called K&N services and told them this was an urgent problem . He said he would stop in the next day and HE DID After checking out my electrical box he discovered that my main breaker was out. This could have ended upa $1300.00 because my electrical box is an outdated model . He went to several electrical supply houses and found one for my outdated electrical box, saving me a ton of money. He was fast, courtious, and saved me a lot of money. This not the kind of service I am used to recieving , I will use him for all future work on my home and studio, Including a new roof in spring.

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Upgrading electrical systems in Superior enhances comfort by supporting efficient heating during long winters and ensuring reliable power for modern appliances. Adding GFCI protection and updated wiring increases electrical safety, especially in moisture-prone areas. Improved lighting brightens dark winter months, while safer, modern systems boost home value and daily convenience—key benefits in Superior’s older housing stock and challenging weather.

Helpful?

To improve electrical safety for families in Superior, install tamper-resistant outlets and GFCI protection in areas exposed to moisture or where children play. Use outlet covers, secure cords along walls, and add nightlights for safer navigation during long winter nights. For pets, keep cords protected and electrical panels inaccessible. Scheduling work during quieter times helps maintain a safe, family-friendly environment in Superior’s unique climate.

Helpful?

In Superior, simple electrical projects like outlet installation or light fixture replacement usually take a few hours, but older homes may require extra time due to outdated wiring or limited access. Larger projects, such as panel upgrades or generator installations, often span one to two days. Winter weather and local permit requirements can extend timelines, so always plan for potential delays unique to Superior’s climate.

Helpful?

In Superior, create a seasonal inspection routine by checking outdoor outlets and lighting each spring for winter damage, testing GFCI outlets monthly in damp areas, and inspecting electrical panels for signs of moisture. Before fall, review heating system wiring and weatherproof outdoor outlets. In summer, inspect attic wiring and air conditioning connections. This routine addresses Superior’s unique climate and boosts electrical safety year-round.

Helpful?

For electrical projects in Superior, keep a non-contact voltage tester, digital multimeter, and insulated screwdrivers for electrical safety. Wire strippers, GFCI outlet testers, and electrical tape are vital due to frequent moisture. Stock cold-weather extension cords, weatherproof outlet covers, and extra wire nuts to withstand Superior’s harsh winters and humidity. These supplies help ensure safe, long-lasting repairs in the local climate.
