At Footprints Floors in the Chicago area, we're a step above the rest! We are a one-of-a-kind family owned and operated flooring installation and restoration business. We have spent the past decade mastering the installation and restoration of hardwood floors as well as the installation of carpet, laminate, vinyl, stone and tile floors, backsplashes, staircases and baseboards. Wood Flooring - Install or Completely Replace
Kyle and his team were amazing. I had 3 sets of stairs and an entire floor to be redone and the work was second to none, and communication / updates along the way were great. I can't comment enough on how great the floors look, and how much they match the other floors already in my house.

I am so happy I chose this company! Kyle was fantastic to work with. I had a flood in my condo and needed flooring replaced. Kyle really worked to get my job scheduled as soon as possible since I was running out of temporary housing. They completed the job in four days and did amazing work. I had luxury vinyl plank installed and love it. I was so impressed because due to my situation I had all of my belongings still in my condo and they were able to move it around to take out and put new flooring in. They didnâ t damage any of my property and cleaned up very well when the project was completed. I would highly recommend this company. The process was so easy from start to finish. Kyle is incredibly responsive and helpful with choosing the flooring and baseboards.

Words can’t express how satisfied I’m with their service. 1. Quality job. They completely fixed the squeaking noise by reinforcing the plywood. The new floor, baseboards, and quarter rounds are all appropriately installed. 2. Effective and timely communication. They never ignore any calls or messages, and are always there to address any questions and concerns. They will do their best to accommodate the customer’s needs. 3. Punctuality. They usually arrive on time. They make good progress and do not fall behind the schedule. 4. Fair price. They listen to your opinion on the price and are willing to make a deal. 5. Courtesy. The entire process was very easy start to finish. Kyle was flexible with my schedule and easy to contact whenever needed. They worked around other contractors schedule for working in my home as well, but still got their work done very quickly. The wood quality is excellent and the finishes are impeccable. Transitions are lined up perfectly, stain looks beautiful. Would absolutely work with this company again on future projects!

I hired footprints to redo our floors before we could move into our new condo. So I was pretty concerned with timing so everything could flow smoothly into our move-in date. Kyle gave me a firm date it would be safe to move in, and I was pretty much expecting that date to get pushed back at some point, but they stuck to it. Not only that, but the floors look great, and the whole crew was very easy to work with, transparent with everything, and in the end we're super happy with the look and the entire experience.
