"The whole process went smoothly. Product was available within estimate dates. Scheduling occurred per our needs. The removal of exiting tub/shower and installation of new shower was completed in one day. Shower looks great. Everyone involved was extremely friendly. "Dewey was excellent. My tile is my favorite part of my bathroom. Larger rectangles with a veining that is so well matched. The workmanship was excellent, floor was ceramic wide plank wood look and is beautiful! He also came back to install my backsplash! I would highly recommend Dewey. "It was all right; we didn’t really get anything worthwhile out of it.  She was pleasant to work with, it is just what she advertised versus what we got was way out.  There was nothing really robust about it.  She was polite and pleasant to talk to and what not but her work wasn’t that great. "

Using caulk is one of the simplest and most recommended methods to finish glass tile edges. It creates an elegant seam between the glass tile and the adjacent area, along with a waterproof seal. With this method, you want to use a caulk color that matches the grout and, along with the grout, compliments the tile. Make sure the caulk line is smooth and even. Alternatively, you can use a bullnose or tile trimming to edge, however, that will also require caulk to seal.

How long painted tiles last ultimately comes down to the quality of the paint job and how much wear and tear the tiles get. It’s possible the paint job will only last about six months if the tiles are in a high-traffic area and they weren’t properly cleaned, sanded, and primed prior to painting and sealing. Well-painted tiles in a low-traffic area should last at least a year.

While you shouldn’t use thinset mortar on its own as a floor leveler, it can work alongside other products to help level floors. For instance, you could start with a self-leveling compound, let that dry, then apply backer board with thinset mortar to help fully even out the floors ahead of laying tile.

You can let the tile sit without grout. Don’t panic if there’s a delay between installing the tiles and grouting. Also, avoid walking over less stable ungrouted floor tiles as they are more prone to premature cracking and shifting. 

It’s possible to walk on a clay tile roof, but you run the risk of breaking or cracking the tiles if you’re not careful, so it’s best not to walk on it if you can avoid it. If you or a contractor needs roof access, be sure to distribute your weight evenly and step on the portions of tile that are also supported underneath, which depends on your tile design. Walking on any roofing material is inherently dangerous, so wear rubber-soled shoes and use safety equipment if you need to access your roof.
