I felt like I was a little misled since Watry claimed not to use subcontractors. Subsequently, they came (mid Dec. 2010) and repaired at no cost to me damage I caused on the roof during shoveling. "My basement remodel turned out as I hoped and looked just as drawn up by a separate architect. Much of the work and cost was re-routing plumbing, electrical and HVAC to get the most floor and ceiling space, and the subcontractors were great. Roger's attention to detail ensured and I was happy with the quality of all the subs. He was very responsive and always answered my questions in a timely manner. He had good suggestions as the project progressed. I had to do a bit of work on my own for the permits as not licensed in Milwaukee, but it was not too difficult as I already had the architect's plans. I also did a bit of running around for some supplies which helped keep a few costs down. Overall, although the cost was higher than I had hoped, I am really enjoying the space and happy I did it."
