"I cannot say enough about our technician, Jordan, or the service of In Phase. We put our request into Angi and probably 1 minute later In Phase called. We have been wanting to upgrade our house to Ecobee since we purchased it two years ago. We thought we could do it ourselves, but our home had 3 zones, a two-wire boiler, and a newly added Central Air system. "After interviewing and soliciting bids from numerous waterproofers and plumbers, I turned to Angie's List and searched for a waterproofer with outstanding reviews.  I selected and called on Basement Waterproofing Solutions.  Brian Flanagan was at my house the very next day!  Right off the bat, I liked Brian.  He was personable and professional, but not too "professional".  The other companies I interviewed sent "professionals" that were all business and did not want to take the time to listen to what I had to say.  Brian was all ears.
I showed Brian all problematic areas and asked for his opinion on the best possible solution.  He had suggestions and cost effective solutions. The most surprising solution was for the kitchen/laundry drainage problem.  Both drained directly to a catch basin in my yard adjacent to the house.  During very heavy downpours, my catch basin would fill and water would back up into the laundry tub then cascade down to the floor, which in turn caused flooding.  All the other companies had very expensive solutions that involved tearing up my yard and installing waterproofing contraptions.  Brian gave it some thought and came up with the ideal solution.  The connection to the catch basin from inside the house would be cut and capped.  A hole would be created inside the house for a pit and a pump.  This allowed the kitchen sink, the laundry tub and the washing machine to dump into the new pit and the water would be ejected up and along the pvc pipes that were installed between the ceiling joists, and ultimately ending in the overhead sewer system.  The new pit would be vented through an existing stack.  Brilliant!  Problem solved.
The quality of the work, including new concrete floor where the drain tile was installed, is top-notch.  Cleanup was meticulous.  The crew was punctual and professional.  Most importantly, Brian was always reachable and eager to discuss the project.
Brian's performance and price exceeded my expectations.  That says alot because I am very particular about the contractors I work with as well as the quality of their work.  I have already referred Basement Waterproofing Solutions to a few of my friends."

Down to earth individuals who did really great work! we were caught by surprise at the water damage and mold that had occurred ( from a leak in the dishwasher), Chris did a wonderful assessment, told us all the steps and gave us a very fair price. He noted further improvements to be done with the lighting (previous improper installation) and need for access panel (for wiring of our dehumidifier) : and he took care of it!! (also took care of an extra "ding" in the drywall in a nearby closet) when they did their work, everything was taped off professionally and sealed, all tile and appliances protected. I was very impressed and it was such a relief to see their professional workmanship for this stressful time. They came multiple days (over a few weeks), texted/called my husband with updates on days in-between treatment and were respectful of our house and time.
