"We originally scheduled a moving service with Wee-Haul on Sat, but they did not show up and we couldn't reach them through phone calls. So we called around and Al's Moving service was the only one able to move us that weekend. Al, the owner, was very professional but the 2 crews he brought over with seem to have little to no experience with moving as they need constant instructions from Al or else they didn't know what to do. They used tons of furniture pads (a total of 8-10) and the wrapping can be done better. Al himself worked very hard and was very professional in terms of attitude and directions to the other 2 crews. One of the crew member had a hang over, and the other one worked extremely slowly. Despite all these shortcomings, they were very careful with the furniture though (the MOST IMPORTANT part!). The moving took 5 hours, which seemed quite slow. A typical 2-bd apt moving is about 2-3 hours."

Moving APT was one third of the price (I called a month before I moved). The boxes looked small at first sight but the smallest one fit my 2-1 apartment. They picked up the box, I took my time to enjoy the road trip to SC, not worrying about hauling the big load. They arrived in about a week and everything was just like I packed it. There was an entire home that needed to be cleared out as well as outbuildings. We were so overwhelmed with how much needed to leave the property before the home and property sale, but Jake and his team did an incredible and timely job clearing and hauling everything out that we needed, even things that were heavy and dirty like old rugs, broken furniture, and heaps of bins full of debris outdoors. Ready movers really helped with their personal touch, hiring a family business with attentive service, experience, no unkind judgement of the hoarding situation, and friendly attitudes really made this entire process smooth and stress free for our family.
