BEDROCK GRANITE specializes in custom residential work. Our American journeymen and stoneworkers are qualified to work with any stone, including exotic varieties and unique designs. We are in constant communication with you during the planning and installation of your granite project. We work with all natural stone countertops including classic granite, unusual and exotic granites, marble, quartzite, soapstone, leathered granite, and honed granite. We fabricate custom granite kitchen countertops, marble and granite bathroom vanities, granite and marble fireplace surrounds and mantles, basement bar counters, outdoor bartops, outdoor granite kitchen countertops, granite table tops, and more.

"I wish this experience would have been better. Long process to get this install but gave benefit of the doubt because of the housing boom and supply chain issues. What really upset me was the install. The countertop went in fine but apparently the design we signed off on wasnt followed and backsplash came in more pieces than we agreed on. They had to come back a different day to complete. The 2nd crew that showed was as clean and meticulous as a grade school kid. Caulk all over the walls (and walls not associated with this counter), a chipped wall corner, caulk all over the countertop not cleaned, and the backsplash pieces not lining up to make it look like a $1100 product. I wish more care was given to the install, putting the pieces together, and the cleanliness of the finished product. Plenty of stone companies out there, look somewhere else folks."

"Wish I'd called sooner! Exceptional service and the final product is beautiful. I called Haase with very little time before the close on my house for a foundation wall rebuild and not only did they work me into their December schedule, they got the work done faster than anticipated. Josh Haase communicated with me throughout the process, checking in regularly so that I knew where they were in the process as well. The wall is beautiful and honestly, I wish I'd called and had his team out years ago. Competitive pricing and stellar product! Not only that, on the final day, I hired him to perform a foundation inspection on my new property and he was able to get that done and a full report out to me and my agent in a very quick turn around. Fast forward 10 days and the bank had questions - I added Josh to the email chain and he put those concerns to bed. He's still providing service and cares almost 2 weeks after business has concluded - that's not a thing anymore. I highly recommend Haase to anyone who needs any work. I will be a repeat customer for sure!"

Owner-operated. No subs. Cost is determined by the job. Travel charges may apply. no service fees. Additional DBAs - Dennis Pinter Sand & Gravel, Pinter Construction Co, Pinter Cement Construction.

"Hired Dennis to remove several yards of dirt from my driveway and he had same day availability at a very reasonable price that beat all other quotes (less than half the price). He even helped me move the rest of my mulch pile around my yard. Would highly recommend, great experience!"

4+ employees. charges based on size of purchase; 1/4 cord-a full cord or truckload. stacking prices: face cord $45—half cord $60—full cord $100. call for delivery time and pick up pricing. coupon in the yellow pages.

"We've been buying our firewood from Wisconsin Firewood for many years, and have been consistently pleased with the results. They've always been on schedule, dropped the wood in the correct place, etc. This year for the first time we paid to have them stack the cord of wood we purchased. The two guys who came out could not have been more professional, friendly, or courteous. They actually exceeded our expectations by collecting the odd pieces and putting them in (our) buckets for us to use for kindling ... and then swept the driveway! One note: I'd recommend staying away from the "mixed hardwoods" - it burns OK, but you'll get all kinds of odd shapes that can be difficult to stack. It's well worth paying the extra money for a specific wood mix such as "oak/ash" which comes in very uniformly sized pieces."

Stone and Gravel questions, answered by experts

Masonry is an umbrella term that involves adhering individual building materials together using an adhesive, so many different things are considered masonry. These include constructing stone or brick walls or facades, installing stucco siding, installing backsplashes or tile floors, and even installing glass block windows, in some cases. Masonry materials include natural stone, clay bricks, concrete bricks, glass blocks, and tiles.

Choosing the right paint color for a major investment like painting the exterior brick on your house can be a daunting task. Perhaps the most important thing is to find painted brick houses that you like and replicate the look by researching their colors and asking the homeowners for the paint color code. If all else fails, white-painted brick is a timeless, classic look that is unlikely to go out of style.

The size of your pizza oven will determine the number of bricks necessary to build it. So the bigger your pizza oven, the more fire bricks you’ll need to purchase. Keep in mind that fire bricks cost about $3 each.

Do not use super glue to hang lights on brick unless you want your lights up year-round. Hot glue is a better choice because it’s easily removable with a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Super glue is very hard to remove, and you could tear off parts of the brick in the removal process.

If you want to make your home eco-friendly, enjoy low maintenance, and love the fact that its looks will take people’s breath away (and not because they were trying to blow your house down), then a modern brick home is right for you. You can hire a mason to get the building process started for your brick home.

But if you’re not fond of the color and don’t want to deal with the process of repointing or other repairs, consider going with vinyl or wood. These materials offer a lower cost. While they tend to require more maintenance, they don’t cost nearly the same as exterior brick house repair.
