Great work

I would recommend Lake Area Landscaping. They are very professional and very quick to return phone calls. Also, they are very respectful of your time with communicating when they will be at your home and when projects will be completed. I hired them twice this summer to reseed spotty areas in my yard and also to demo an old shed. They did a great job!

We had new stones put in at our lakefront with new stairways and walkeays. They got the job done very fast and it is great quality. Once they were finished, they re-seeded the parts of our lawn that they had to dig up/ drive over.

The project entailed landscape work as well as a paver patio area. Work was well done, and when some of the plant material did not survive the season they were very responsive to come and replace that planting material at no additional charge.

We had a vision for a stone patio to match the landscaping around our pool that was put in 7 years ago. The big name companies we initially considered couldn’t or wouldn’t create the design we wanted. Scott and his crew worked with our idea, offered amazing ideas of their own based on experience, and even priced our project well below those other companies. We absolutely love our backyard paradise. We even had them back to pour our driveway and place pavers around our large pool landscaping all the way to the front of the house to put the final touches on the project. The pictures don’t do justice because they were taken before we finished everything, but it gives an idea of the work.

Lakefront work

Scott and his crew did amazing work. It was a large project involving removal of a collapsing retaining wall and replacing it with a two tier boulder wall. The work was completed in less than a week and looks spectacular. I highly recommend Lake Area Landscaping.

We used Lakeside Landscaping, initially, to replace 80' of lannon stone with riprap at the lake. Shortly after looking at that project they suggested replacing about 400' of lannon stone retaining walls that were leaning after 40 years. The result was way beyond expectation! They're beautiful and the stones used were artfully placed so that everyone who sees them goes "wow." Their team was very courteous and knowledgeable and easy to work with. We had a great relationship with Scott and the on-site foreman. After the two week project the lawn was reseeded and ready for Spring. The experience was very positive. The cost was very reasonable for the effort that was expended. Scotty is great to work with. All in all, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We used Lakeside Landscaping to do rip rap along our shoreline as well as level areas of our yard. We were very please with their work as well as their communication - they always got back to us quickly! They did everything they said they would do within the timeline and budget quoted. We did our homework on pricing and called references they gave us and found their work to be a good value for our money. They also have been great in following up to patch a few areas of grass for us. We would highly recommend them for your landscaping needs. Tree work and other landscaping projects were all done in a timely and efficient manner at a fair price

They installed a fire bowl, boulder landscape wall, and replaced a deteriorating concrete slab with flagstone. The communication by Scotty was amazingly fast every single time!! The turnaround time from meeting about the project to the written proposal was 24 hours. The workers arrived on time and worked very hard. Scotty was always available if I had a question, but I rarely needed him as the project manager on site was fantastic. They worked until every last detail was complete and allowed me to add a few extra tasks that came to light as the project moved alongâ ¦..and they were happy to! . Scott and Scotty were more detailed and more picky than me! 10 year warranty. Iâ m sold! Job very well done and Iâ d hire them again.

Had stone added to culvert. They dug it up and loaded plenty of stone. Extremely happy with the look and able to mow around.

Reasonable price. I just should have watched more closely. They did trim some things, that didn't need trimming.

Scott and his wonderful crew rebuilt our shoreline as well as a retaining wall. Great experience. You can trust Scott in every aspect of his work. Honest and dependable with enthusiasm. All good ingredients! He’ll always be my 1st call for general work around our property.

We hired this company to replace our concrete seawall, which was falling apart , with large stones and they did a great job. Two summers later, 2 of the stones fell down ( we are on the main lake and our shoreline gets hit hard with major waves) and I called Scotty and he had their crew come back and they fixed the seawall at no charge. They defenitely stand behind their work! Great work and customer service!

Great team of guys, small but quality! Bigger isnâ t always better! Stand behind their work and the product is top notch, they did a huge retaining wall and steps to the lake on very difficult slope and hill we have. 10/10 would recommend

Scotty was the lead guy on my job, he was clear from start to finish on what he was doing, Installed a rip rap shoreline accross my lake frontage and did a retaining wall and patio that looks great, I call them back every year for my fall cleanups as well, highly recommend lakeside landscape
