We absolutely love House of Stone. I have recommended them to several friends and all have been very happy as well!

Got two bids, but wanted American-made (Cambria) quartz, and House of Stone was recommended by the manufacturer. They ordered our stone, and I was able to inspect it at their warehouse (very important!). Installers were prompt, did a great job on the seams and cutouts, were spotlessly clean and polite. Afterwards, they spent a considerable amount of time educating us about the stone and its care. A pleasure to work with.

Went very well. The piece of stone we selected was a remnant so we got a very good price. We had an easy time with their salesperson, and they worked with our schedule for installation. They finished the stone nicely and did a careful installation (including undermount sink). The counter fit perfectly and looks great.

They counters took a few days longer than expected to fabricate, which was not at all a big deal. The installation was quick, and the installers were conscientious and cleaned up after the project. What really impressed me about the company was after after assessing the stone at the seam, there was a small matching issue. The owner himself came out to the house, considered the issue, tried a few things to resolve it, and DID in fact successfullly resolve it. I was extremely impressed with the customer service, and level of pride in their work. Would use them again.

We were looking for granite, but pretty much novices. Went around to a major home improvement store and so forth, but didn't like what we saw. We got an estimate from one provider, but $4,500 for 14 sq ft of counter seemed extreme. I'd drive by House of Stone, and so I went it. When they showed me the most popular granites, I wasn't impressed, and they said "Oh! maybe you'd like to see something more sophisticated." They showed us a gorgeous "Mermaid Green," a slightly translucent granite filled with glittering flecks of blue and gold. They measured on a Friday and installed on the next Wednesday. Everybody at House of Stone was incredibly friendly and professional. I was a bit nervous going into a new material, but I couldn't be more pleased. The counters are stunning, and it was all very easy.

Jeanette recommended using a smaller piece rather than purchasing an entire slab; this would be more economical. I was walked through the existing inventory of smaller pieces, and saw a very large selection. Jeanette was very helpful and very knowledgeable about each of the pieces. I used another contractor based on timing of installation, conditions for installation, and price.

We came into the showroom a few months back and had excellent service with both Mike and Julie. She maintained contact with us periodically while our cabinets were being refinished. When time came to make a final selection and have the countertop work done, we were disappointed to learn that both Mike and Julie had left. We were so unhappy with the rest of the staff there that we decided to take our business elsewhere. No one there spoke english or understood what it was that we were looking for. One woman even fell asleep while we were asking questions.

Julie was very helpful in the showroom, even calling in someone from the factory to lift samples down to eye level for me. She prepared the proposal while I waited. The color of the stone wasn't quite what I was looking for, and the price was a little higher than the vendor who I ultimately chose.
