We are a family owned business. We have been located in Racine for almost 10 years. My father started Angel lawn care to provide for our family and now I am taking over. I love the reactions we get when we transform a property. Weather that be just us mowing their property or doing drive ways, patios, fire pits and etc. We love what we do and are very passionate about our work. We provide many services on residential and commercial properties.

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Treating dry soil can bring back a dormant lawn, but not a dead one. After nurturing a dry lawn back to proper moisture levels, you should closely observe whether your grass revives with the soil. If not, you may need to reseed your lawn or start fresh with new turf.

Aerate during the growing season, typically in spring or fall, when grass can quickly recover.

Yes, you can overseed your lawn without aerating it, but results may vary. If you have the time, dethatching or aerating your lawn before overseeding will yield the best results. Overseeding your lawn without aerating will work, but less seed will take root. For the best possible results, aerate your lawn before overseeding it.

Liquid aeration products are generally safe for pets and children when used according to the manufacturer's instructions. Once the liquid has dried on the lawn, it poses minimal risk. However, as a precaution, keep pets and children off the treated area until it has dried completely, which usually takes a few hours. This helps ensure their safety while allowing the product to work effectively in improving your lawn's health.

Don’t pick up dirt after aerating. Even though it's tempting because soil cores are incredibly unsightly, these cores and the dirt they leave behind are ecologically important. This is what keeps your grass looking beautiful and growing healthily. The soil cores need two to three weeks to decompose, but you can swat them with a rake if their natural shape bothers you.
