"While the prices are slightly higher than I thought they would be and a little more than I wanted, it comes out to very close to $23 sq. ft. when done. I wish they had a blue option for the counters but we're happy with the color we went with. The price makes then the same as doing new laminate with installation, but our 70's old laminate curves up in the back so we would have had to do cutting and that makes whole new much more expensive in labor, so this as a great alternative and in the 70's they actually used very good sub wood and they've held up fantastic over the years, so we went with resurfacing which is like fiberglass but without using a cloth in the middle of the resin urethane layers, so very tough and will look great for 25 yr.s plus. will take heat and heavy objects and the punishment of children and pets lol. We have old venetian marbles bathroom vanity and tub walls that we did new resurfacing coatings on and they even patched old chemical erosion on the counters and angies list gets you free anti slip tub upgrade that costs $80 normally. So a nice bonus. "
