Fred Rykowski & Sons Plumbing

They are another professional organization like some of my other suppliers. I have been very fortunate with the people I have worked with. I have never really compared their prices for septic pumping. They are there when I need them. When I call them up everybody in the organization knows about my problem and what I am talking about. They are a great company and everything went well for us. Septic systems can be unpleasant and the Rykowski's make me feel like I have a friend; that I am not in it alone

The guy who came out was wonderful and great. Apparently, it is a father and son business. I have had the guy septic work done before. Then they got bought out by a bigger company and I was happy with them. This is a small firm and the guy was extra careful. I got a cheaper one, but they want to come and do the theory for some reasons

The experience is fine. They have enough hoses and things that they don't have to drive into my yard with the big truck. They are very nice. They are extremely courteous and prompt. They will come if I have an issue. I guess I had a problem and the alarm went off. They came right away in pouring down rain. They did what they could do and then recommended somebody to come and change out the pump. I was just totally lost without their help. It's about $150 to Beloit Septic Svc LLC and then the county requires a fee of $15. I don't have any way of comparing and they are the only ones I have ever used

They strung us along. They required advanced payment for their services that were never completely rendered. They never did a final pump out of the tank to clean out the debris that had fallen in their during the construction process. They didn’t clean up after themselves after they dug a hole to access the tank. For a long time, they left the tank exposed until I could get them to take care of it. In the end, they failed to actually pump out the tank as they were contracted to do

"Kurt from KJM Plumbing installed 4 faucets and a sink for us. He was very careful and did a great job. Kurt is one of the best communicators I have run into regarding assessing and scheduling a home improvement project. His text messages kept me constantly updated on the project and the schedule. He stopped by our house to inspect the project site and give us advice on the best size for the sink. He arrived at our house as scheduled to perform the work. He cleaned up after completing the project. He was very pleasant and helpful. I would certainly call upon KJM Plumbing for my next plumbing job.

"Brisc Plumbing provided a cost competitive quote the same day requested and performed the work the next. The owner, a master plumber, is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and even provided his expertise on another plumbing issue we were experiencing. The removal of the leaky heater was handled so our carpets and finished wood floors were protected. The work area was cleaned better than initially found. They were adhering to the new COVID 19 safety guidelines. The next day we had a question about the new heater and the owner quickly answered saying hello and using my first name. We wanted clarification which he gladly provided. The final cost matched the quote. We would gladly use Brisc Plumbing for future plumbing issues.

"Everything went great!
I had water backing up into my basement through the floor drain in my utility room. I called Rick at Free Flow Drain Services late on a Saturday afternoon and he arrived at my house within an hour. Rick performed a series of tests to determine the source of the back up, starting with the least invasive test first. He discovered the problem within an hour - there were two problems actually, one of which was a broken pipe valve. The hardware store was closed by then, so Rick went to Lowe's first thing Sunday morning and came back to the house to install the new valve.
I felt like Rick went above and beyond the call of duty, especially considering it was a holiday (New Years) weekend. And his rates were very reasonable.
I'd definitely recommend Rick, especially if you have a plumbing emergency.

"When the movers came, they were over 2 1/2 hours late and did not bring moving materials that were outlined in the order. My bedroom set and my cat condo were damaged. They took a very long time to pack my dishes & I even drove one of the individuals to get the needed material for moving. They was wardrobe boxes which were large and hard to fit in my vehicle.
"The men did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. No mess left behind. The son communicated when things had to be done differently than expected. They were friendly and efficient. Gave a B for professionalism because they didn't say who they were when they arrived at the house. That is the norm for any repair service.

Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.
How often should a septic tank be serviced?
Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.
