"JJB was great from start to finish. They were responsive to our initial inquiry, responded to any all all questions in a timely manner, did great work, and everything was completed (site visit, quote, adjustments to plans and cost, and all of the actual work) in less than one month's time! We wanted to change a barn door setup that was separating a bedroom from a bathroom into a pocket door, and they handled closing off the wall and installing the new door. We also worked with them to get both sides of the wall (and the rest of the bedroom walls) painted. Finally, they helped with some floor repairs due to wood underneath the carpet having caved in in a few small spots."

"After interviewing and soliciting bids from numerous waterproofers and plumbers, I turned to Angie's List and searched for a waterproofer with outstanding reviews.  I selected and called on Basement Waterproofing Solutions.  Brian Flanagan was at my house the very next day!  Right off the bat, I liked Brian.  He was personable and professional, but not too "professional".  The other companies I interviewed sent "professionals" that were all business and did not want to take the time to listen to what I had to say.  Brian was all ears.
I showed Brian all problematic areas and asked for his opinion on the best possible solution.  He had suggestions and cost effective solutions. The most surprising solution was for the kitchen/laundry drainage problem.  Both drained directly to a catch basin in my yard adjacent to the house.  During very heavy downpours, my catch basin would fill and water would back up into the laundry tub then cascade down to the floor, which in turn caused flooding.  All the other companies had very expensive solutions that involved tearing up my yard and installing waterproofing contraptions.  Brian gave it some thought and came up with the ideal solution.  The connection to the catch basin from inside the house would be cut and capped.  A hole would be created inside the house for a pit and a pump.  This allowed the kitchen sink, the laundry tub and the washing machine to dump into the new pit and the water would be ejected up and along the pvc pipes that were installed between the ceiling joists, and ultimately ending in the overhead sewer system.  The new pit would be vented through an existing stack.  Brilliant!  Problem solved.
The quality of the work, including new concrete floor where the drain tile was installed, is top-notch.  Cleanup was meticulous.  The crew was punctual and professional.  Most importantly, Brian was always reachable and eager to discuss the project.
Brian's performance and price exceeded my expectations.  That says alot because I am very particular about the contractors I work with as well as the quality of their work.  I have already referred Basement Waterproofing Solutions to a few of my friends."

Down to earth individuals who did really great work! we were caught by surprise at the water damage and mold that had occurred ( from a leak in the dishwasher), Chris did a wonderful assessment, told us all the steps and gave us a very fair price. He noted further improvements to be done with the lighting (previous improper installation) and need for access panel (for wiring of our dehumidifier) : and he took care of it!! (also took care of an extra "ding" in the drywall in a nearby closet) when they did their work, everything was taped off professionally and sealed, all tile and appliances protected. I was very impressed and it was such a relief to see their professional workmanship for this stressful time. They came multiple days (over a few weeks), texted/called my husband with updates on days in-between treatment and were respectful of our house and time. "I have worked with contractors in the past but, never had such kind, courteous, punctual, and patient young men as Jovon and Jeremy. They worked with me on the situation I was in. My neighbor was going to install my storm door for free but he ended up in a cast due to a work injury. So now I'm stuck. I contact Angi to get some Quotes. Jovon set up the appointment. Arrived on time. Just toward the end of the install we discover I had ordered the door to wide I had a 36" and I needed a 32". So then I went online to find the right door. Jovon and Jeremy gave me another appointment for the next day, They arrived at 10 AM and went out of their way to take me back to Menards to exchange the door. "I hired Gaidish to install drain tiles in my basement, replace wooden beams with steel ones, and replace my cement laundry tub with a fiberglass one. The work went well and my basement has been dry since the work was completed. The replacement of the laundry sink took a little longer because the plumber wasn’t available but I didn’t have to wait too long and it was worth the wait! This company was very honest about the extent of the work that needed to be done as opposed to another company that tried to scare me with a HARD sell tactic."
