"Everything went very well. Cole was very accomodating and did a great job. The project needed some elevation because of the slope of the yard, and he adjusted for that very well. He answered every question we had to our satisfaction and worked very hard to get the job done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him and will use him in the future for any work needed. Contractors will use a strong, inexpensive wood to frame a house or other structure and finer woods like mahogany for detail work. 

The timeline to build your barn will depend on the barn type and the company you hire. A pole barn may take six weeks or so, while a traditionally framed or steel-framed barn can take four months or longer. Building a barndominium takes the longest because you are essentially building a new home. You can expect barndominiums to take six months or longer to build.

Rustic and modern farmhouse styles are currently the most popular. These include rustic and antique furniture, muted colors, clean lines, eclectic decor, and natural materials. Some other popular farmhouse styles include the following:
