"Allen and Kenny did an EXCELLENT job replacing our old downspouts. They knew what they were doing. They even covered our All Seasons Room gutter. The job was done neatly and efficiently. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing gutter work. ~~Mike and Marilyn Gliszinski"

"Replaced 6 glass block windows in our home. From the first meeting we knew we would select them. Windows are beautiful mortared blocks instead of the cheap windows other companies use The work was done within a week of estimate and installers were professional, neat an respectful of us and our home Called with a question about a vent 1 month after install and they were out within an hour ON A SATURDAY, at no charge to us.( Had to demonstrate a vent opening). I would give them 100 stars if I could. Have done many remodel projects on our home and these guys were the best"

"I really enjoyed working with this company. The estimator was polite and knowledgeable and efficient with communication. The installer was friendly and in a good mood even though the old gutter guards were difficult to remove. He straightened and correctly angled the existing gutters before installing new guards. When done the installer showed me the photos of the work he had done so I didn?t need to climb the ladder to inspect the work. I recommend this company. BK"

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

When it comes to which gutter material is better, the choice really boils down to what you're looking for in a gutter system. If saving money is the most important factor, then your best option is to go for aluminum gutters. If longevity and durability are more important to you, then copper gutters could be the best fit. If you want to customize the color of your gutters, aluminum takes the cake, but if you're looking for a more natural appearance, copper might be a better choice.

Yes, caulking or sealing your vinyl gutters is a good way to help prevent gutter leaks. When you’re installing gutters, it’s important to overlap the sections to help avoid issues like leaks or drips, but they can still happen. In this case, adding caulk can help. Make sure to use a caulk designed for multiple surfaces, like a silicone-based caulk. You can also purchase a gutter sealant as well, which is specifically designed for this purpose.

If you don't want to install gutter guards, the most common and inexpensive alternative is regular gutter cleaning, either annually, biannually, or as soon as they start to fill up. Using a leaf blower attachment can make this process easier. Other products designed to reduce cleanings include gutter screens (made of wire mesh, nylon, or foam), which are typically less expensive than a full gutter guard installation. You can also find guards and inserts designed specifically to protect your downspouts or opt for a whole gutter system like LeafGuard, which integrates the gutter and guard into a single product.

Yes, many homeowners find that seamless gutters are worth the investment. Although they have a higher upfront cost than standard gutters—an average of $2,700 compared to $2,000—their benefits often outweigh the price difference. Seamless gutters last longer, require less maintenance, and are less prone to clogs and leaks due to having fewer seams. In contrast, standard gutters typically have seams every 10 feet, which can leak and require new sealant every one to five years. Additionally, seamless gutters are considered more aesthetically pleasing, come in a variety of colors to match your home, and can improve your home's curb appeal and potential value.

Yes, gutter repair is almost always worth the investment. Some homeowners believe that gutter repairs are only to improve the home’s curb appeal, but gutters play a pivotal role in protecting your foundation from damage and structural instability, and they also prevent water damage to your soffits, fascia, roof, and exterior walls. You will pay an average of around $400 to have your gutters professionally repaired, but it’s worth it even for the peace of mind of knowing that one of your largest investments is adequately protected from the elements.
