"Len came to give us an estimate on a Saturday, right before a Badger game. He was a very pleasant man, with a cheery story or two to tell. There was no pressure in the sales, but we quickly agreed to be put on the schedule. Len recommended the paint brand to get to help our colors stand out more. The crew arrived on our street by 6:35, but waited until 7:00, as promised to take over our house. They did an absolutely fantastic job and were meticulous in their work. Within 1/2 hour of their arrival they had the entire area COVERED in drop cloths. They patched what needed to be patched beautifully while others were busy trimming and painting. I failed to ask Len to paint our utility room and when I mentioned it, Len said he had planned on painting it anyway, as the job would look incomplete if they didn't. They were finished and gone by the time I returned at 3:30 in the afternoon. I found no drips or drops of any sort. I can't wait to have them back for the rest of the house."

"I have worked with contractors in the past but, never had such kind, courteous, punctual, and patient young men as Jovon and Jeremy. They worked with me on the situation I was in. My neighbor was going to install my storm door for free but he ended up in a cast due to a work injury. So now I'm stuck. I contact Angi to get some Quotes. Jovon set up the appointment. Arrived on time. Just toward the end of the install we discover I had ordered the door to wide I had a 36" and I needed a 32". So then I went online to find the right door. Jovon and Jeremy gave me another appointment for the next day, They arrived at 10 AM and went out of their way to take me back to Menards to exchange the door. "I admit I hated having to wait a couple of weeks for the appointment. Smelly hot water is not fun to live with, but they did say they would come out sooner if someone cancelled, but.. no one did. They came out at the scheduled evening, and fixed it! I did speak to the plumber that installed the water heater, and he quoted me $200 for the project, which, according to YouTube, would take less than 10 minutes, and only needed a 1 1/16 heavy duty socket and a bucket.. and some strength. After the discount from the coupon from Angie's list, and the fact that we bought the new Anode Rod already.. we still had to pay $110 out of pocket.. guess it's better than $200 total. Norman's also mentioned the 'usual fee' of $200."

"The roof area above our attached garage was leaking badly whenever it would rain or snow would melt. Because there was a wooden deck installed above the rubber roof, it was not possible to determine the source of the leak.  After several attempts at patching things, we started to contact contractors to find out what was needed to fix the problem.  
I called JJB after locating them on an Angie's List search.  We arranged for Jeff to stop by to look at the problems and provide an estimate.  He stopped by, right on schedule, and looked at the problems, took measurements, and explained solutions.  It became clear that the leak was being caused by the poorly installed rubber roof (under the wooden deck) as well as a failing second-floor stucco wall that abutted the roof of the garage.  Because of the cost, we were not able to have the work done at the time of the estimate (April/May).  When we were ready to have the work done, I had a few additional questions about the project and talked to Jeff.  He suggested some different materials for the wall and modified the original proposal with the new costs.  We approved the proposal and Jeff or Ann got back to us right away to let us know the timeline for the work to be done.  
The work started right on schedule and either Jeff, Ann, or the project manager, Joe, would check in with us to let us know how the work was proceeding and any issues.  Some extra work was required due to water damage and the improperly-installed roof materials.  When this came up, Joe explained exactly what would be needed, the charges, how they would be estimated, and all other details.  We approved the additional costs and all of the changes were well-documented so we never felt like we were in the dark about the revised costs.  When the additional work was complete, Joe let us know and the originally-proposed work continued.
All of the work was done carefully with close attention to detail.  We are very happy with how things turned out and, after a few rain storms, we have not had any further leaks.  We highly recommend JJB.
