With the added referral from a friend and two other competitive bids, we decided to go ahead with the project with John. Now that we are completely done with the renovation, we are thrilled to say that all of the reviews were true. John has been in the biz a long time and he's figured out how to be fair while producing a great product. Starting off with the initial bid, he brought all of his subs to our house so they could make an accurate judgment about what the overall project would cost. Some other outfits will send one bidder, and then you might find out that the quote isn't as accurate as you'd hope. The transparency financially was one of our favorite parts of the process. Also, each of his subs are exceptional. I never had to worry if they'd show up to get the job done. They are all very talented and it was clear that it wasn't their first rodeo. I've never met a contractor who works harder. He always gave us 110%. I would definitely hire John and his crew again

"Earl and Tony were great. I had been dealing with a leaking chimney that had caused mold and water damage in an upstairs bedroom for months. It was narrowed down to a masonry issue so I contacted multiple masons. 2 companies were able to come out and take a look including Hensen masonry. Both companies needed to return for a better look and one company never returned but Hensen was back the next day. They were responsive by email regarding their scheduling as they were finishing up another job and they worked around various rain storms that came. They had to grind out mortar on a large chimney wall and then tuck/seal the wall. Got the job done quickly with a reasonable quote. Helped us check for any further leaking by using a hose on the roof to spray the bricks. All fixed! They will be my first call for any masonry issue from here on out and I will not hesitate to refer them to all my friends.
