Day before install they reached out to confirm and day of install crew called and was right on time. Install crew was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had at the time. "Signed contract w/Encore for a 1-color Stargazer coating w/a lifetime warranty in May 23. When the install took place in SEP 23, it was immediately defective. Encore used 2 colors instead of the contracted single color, & visible flaws appeared across the deck within days. Within months, the coating began chipping & failing, the very problem we had specifically raised & Encore had dismissed. Over the next 19 months (SEP 23?MAY 25), we contacted Encore at least 14 times to report issues, share photos, & request repairs. Encore?s own reps inspected the site & acknowledged the work was below their standards. Yet the company repeatedly delayed action, offered inadequate fixes, & shifted explanations?from initially admitting a surface-prep failure to later, more than a year after our first complaint, claiming a moisture barrier issue. We tried to work through the BBB, IL AG (no Encore response). In OCT 25, Encore was found in civil court as negligent in installing the pool deck coating."
