The reason for the 4 star is they were supposed to call 30 mins before arrival. They showed up without calling and I had to rush home from work. The 4 stars is also due to sticker shock (no fault of the plumber). Original quote was $720 for a clogged drain. They knocked it down to $500 with only a 30 day warranty rather than 6 month. He found the clog at 35’ (10’ beyond my 25’ snake) in less than 20 mins. I now know I can get a 125’ power snake with all the different pipe size attachments for $300. I do appreciate the promptness of Roto Rooter, ease of scheduling, and fixing the issue right away, but I will invest in my own 100’ snake before spending $500 for 20 mins of labor (not including their travel). Thanks Roto Rooter for jumping on this and fixing the issue in less than 24 hours after contacting you."

"On July 9th, 2025 I went to Angi's to get a quote for a dripping faucet and leaky shut off valve. I was contacted by the receptionist at Capital Heating and Cooling to set up a time for their service people to come out. I asked for a quote for possible work and was told that didn't quote until they saw the job which is contradictory from what you are led to believe by Angi. I left a detailed account of what was wrong with Angi. Mike and Jay come out later that day. They looked at the faucet and said it would be better to put in a new one along with new cut off valves. I was stunned by the quote of $782.25. There was no indication what that covered. I had to rush to Home Depot to get a new faucet as well. They were at the house less than 2 hours, didn't give me my old faucet or the boxing for the new one which would have warranty paperwork.
