"Thanks so much - We appreciate your review and your business very much!!!!"
"Our service records do not agree with the address or the dates of service. We are very concerned that a customer would have gone without attention after such a detailed, unhappy service call. We will definitely investigate the situation on our end and with Angies List."
chose Mr. Rooter based on reviews. They came out and snaked out the pipes after another backup and then began to diagnose the problem. They determined that there was a back pitch in the pipe where the stub in for another bathroom in the basement connected.
So I hired them to break up the concrete and replace the section. The work was done the cement was replaced the concrete was not finished smoothly and did not match the rest of the floor. Then John the owner told me that the toilet paper we were using was to thick, even though it said safe for septic systems, and we are on the Kenosha city sewer system. So about 3 months go by and we think everything is great (we did not change paper) another backup occurs. So we switch toilet paper and another backup occurs we switch again. The last two were minor and was able to take care of them myself. Then a few weeks ago we had large and I called Mr. Rooter after normal hours and was told they could not help me. That made me mad I called another service and had them come out snake out the pipes. After the other service was on the way John from Mr. Rooter called I told him I already had another company coming to take care of a problem that I paid them 5 thousand dollars to never have happen again. They called back another day saying they want to come out and see what's going on I screw you if I took my car in for repair and paid 5000.00 and it was still broke I would not go back to that garage again. So Mr. Rooter can kiss my @#$ if they think I am going to let back in my house.
"5/13/16 - Just spoke with customer today and they have not had any issues of any kind since December and are very happy with the service they have received and the follow up."
I would highly recommend this company. Everyone, from the receptionist to the repairmen, were extremely friendly, accommodating, and they explained things honestly and with the "heart of a teacher."
But here is the issue. The garbage disposal replacement ended up costing her quite a lot more than she understood. And given the actual cost of the unit at any local home improvement store and the amount of time it took to provide the service it was on the high end and she felt they took advantage of her due to her age.
But my concern is that when she received a bill for the "second installment" which was exactly equal to the amount she gave the tech on the day of service thinking she was paying in full, she contacted the office. A series of phone discussions took place with my mother saying that an error had been made and she was duplicate billed. The office handled the calls so poorly that she said she would not pay the second amount unless they convinced her that she owed the additional amount. Instead, they turned it over to a collection agency. They could have just copied her on the original agreement and the bill would have been paid. Mom says she never received a copy to start with, and believe me she saves a copy of everything and keeps it for years. Instead it took me two months talking with the collection agency to get a copy of the agreement with her signature. And then the bill was paid in full.
I have to say that I believe the professionalism of this organization across the board was lacking. The experience was one that I hope others can avoid.
"After a thorough review of our records, we have no customer with this name or address. We also have no job that reflects a garbage disposer replacement for 30 days surrounding the stated date of repair. We have not heard directly from this customer in any way nor do we have any collection proceedings in effect. Perhaps this was another company?"
"Thank you for your business! We appreciate our customers input and that you took the time to rate us. Your feedback is priceless to us and helps us to become an even better service provider for you."
He (Bob) was here in 1 hour. He unclogged the bathroom drain & cleaned up the mess. Bob is personable yet professional. We now have a reliable plumber in case of future problems. We recommend him to everyone who wants a honest, reliable plumber. He knows his job, and does it well.
WTG Bob!

Happenstance had me in the basement the moment my wife had flushed a toilet upstairs, when the sewer water began backing up through the floor drain. New this was going to be a pro-job.
Selected Mr Rooter based on AL reviews. The dispatcher told me the plumber would be there between 1 & 3pm (it was only 9a), but mentioned the plumber would call if he could make it any earlier. To my great satisfaction, he called about an hour later (10a) saying he could be there in 1/2...fantastic!
He quickly diagnosed the clog as being between the house and muni sewer which would require cabling the drain. He spent almost an hour doing so, which was well worth it. Over the years the roots from our tree in our front yard began growing into the sewer drain, a common occurrence. He sent the cable down one, hit the first root, cut it out. The water went down. But then he took the next step. We flushed the toilets to make sure it was clear. Nope another obstruction. We repeated this a few times, ensuring all of the roots were cleared. He didn't stop at just getting the water down but continued until all of the roots were cleared, and there were quite a few. Needless to say, this extra attention most likely have cured the problem for more than just a short while ensuring that it wasn't just fixed but fixed right.
He had given me a quote up front and, sure enough, even though the work took a little longer than expected given the situation was more complex, the price came in right on.
Thank you, Kyle, for your prompt attention, courteous manner, and skillful execution.
I will recommend Mr. Rooter in the future. Thanks!
We did our homework too before calling them. Checked the BBB and of course Angie's List. I had hired them before for something and liked them, but wanted to compare to others before this big project. They did not let us down in any way.
