"Excellent work and customer service at a top price. They charged $325 to install exterior doors, $135 for storm door, and $100 to repair a storm door. Scott came out on a Saturday morning to give us an estimate, answered all our questions, and guided us in how to purchase our doors as well as knobs/locks. We got our home doors from Lowe's but the garage service door was an odd size; we were able to purchase this through Superior. They picked up our doors from Lowes and brought them to us and installed them mostly in one day--finishing up a couple hours the next day. Near our back door there was a gap where the door was separating from the flooring and they fixed this. Back storm door was getting crooked so they re-hung this. Above and beyond--saw our doorbell wasn't working and fixed that right away at no extra cost. After the winter the front exterior door wasn't clicking into place so we called them. They were seeing much of this shifting with the especially cold winter and they came and fixed it for free. Everything looks great, sealed very nicely. Almost no drafts at all in winter compared to much drafting with old doors. Between Superior's cost of $1,414 and buying the doors and pieces at Lowe's, the entire door replacement job came to less than $3,000--incredible given that WeatherTight had come door to door one day and quoted us $7,800 for a similar job. We saw similar prices to these on some of the big name door/window company reviews. I recommended them to my parents and it appears they did an excellent job for them as well! "
"Mark and Creative did an EXCELLENT job! We had a dark burgundy dining room and were wanting to switch to a light gray / beige color as were concerned as to how much it would cost due to needing many coats to cover the old color. Mark reassured us that he could do this in two coats and that he was confident that it would not need a third. He was right! Mark uses only the best paints available for the specific jog. This is the 3rd or 4th time we have used Mark, so although we were skeptical, we trusted Mark. He was right! Tow coats, one day on site, and our dining room was perfect! I will only use, and recommend Creative Painting from now on. He is the best! Mark is very professional and understands concerns with empathy. He is able to stand by his words and his work! I recommend Creative Painting to anyone looking for any painting needs."
"The job started out with some drywall repair but ended up requiring painting as well. Chris fully explained the process up front and did tell us that we might need painting. We were very impressed with every aspect of the job, the guys were very clean and respectful of our home. The job wasn't done until we were fully satisfied and Chris, Jeff and Brandon worked very hard to get everything done in a super timely manner to minimize the disruption in our lives. Clearly service is #1 with this company and we highly recommend. If you came to our house you wouldn't be able to tell where the repairs had been done. Thanks, Mudslingers!"
"Kirch installed a deck for an above ground pool including stairs, rails, and gate. They were extremely easy to work with, responsive, and provided ideas for the project. The quote was competitive and I never had to worry about anything. I felt very confident with the work and staff. Even my kids said that they were nice!! The deck looks amazing and is built with high quality materials that will last a life time. Communication was constant. They did lots of different things to make it look great including picture frame border, lining the deck under the pool edge and other nice touches"
"I had a 1960's shed that was an eye sore. He completely refurbished it! He made brand new doors, put a new roof and flooring for it and it looks amazing! He's absolutely dependable, personable, has incredible skills, and very focused! He's really innovative when it comes to challenges!"
"Woodrite was a great contractor to work with, from the detailed contract on what they world deliver to working with the city on plans and permits. This was a custom built gazebo and the workshop from the carpenter that did the work was amazing. Would highly recommend this contractor. Del, who is the owner is great to work with."
Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.
Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.
Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.
The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.
On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.
