"Pete and his team did a very nice job cleaning the tile floor and repairing grout in our kitchen and bathroom. They also cleaned up very thoroughly when they were done. Happy to recommend them."

"The service provided by Daniel was beyond expectations. He was prompt answering any of my questions prior to scheduling, he arrived early, and he evening provided images of the spotless gutters during his cleaning. Some of the houses in my neighborhood can be in tight proximity of each other. I’m one of the “lucky” ones where the space between my neighbor’s house and my house is roughly about a yard and half. When I spoke to Daniel about my neighbor’s concern of accessing her roof, he was very considerate and creatively found a solution, accessing my adjacent gutters via a harness. Crisis averted! I would highly recommend Daniel’s services to anyone."

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

To prepare a floor for a steam mop, it’s essential to vacuum or sweep the floor thoroughly to remove dirt, dust, pet hair, and other debris. Skipping this step can lead to streaky results and may cause you to simply spread grime instead of removing it. Worse, hard debris can scratch or damage delicate floors like hardwood or laminate. Proper prep helps ensure a truly clean and protected surface.

Yes, mold can grow under your shower tiles if they aren’t thoroughly waterproofed. Even if you have a durable, non-porous tile material, water can make its way through grout or gaps around the edges of the shower. This will slowly erode the grout, which can cause tiles to come loose. It can also trap moisture behind tiles, and within a day or two, mold and mildew can rapidly grow.

While vinegar can remove some adhesives, it may not work at removing floor tile adhesives. Floor tile adhesives are particularly strong in order to hold up to foot traffic, so vinegar may not be powerful enough to remove them. However, if you use peel-and-stick tiles for your kitchen backsplash or mudroom floor, vinegar may help clean up any adhesive residue from those types of tiles.

How often you clean a bathroom depends on how often you use it and how many people are in your home. In general, a bathroom should be cleaned once per week or every other week. But a bathroom deep-clean done at least every two weeks allows you to keep bacteria and mildew away.

No, the pink ring in your toilet bowl isn’t a hard water stain but a type of bacteria called Serratia marcescens. This bacteria can also cause pinkish stains in other areas of your bathroom, like around your tub, shower curtains, and faucets. Thankfully, it’s considered to be harmless. However, if you or anyone in your household is immunocompromised, it can cause issues like urinary tract infections. You can clean the pink ring with bleach and a plastic brush. Wear gloves and goggles when using bleach, and always work in a well-ventilated room.
