"Hired Risen Lawn Care of Deerfield Wisconsin to trim our trees and bushes. We were flexible on when he could start the job. He told us on Friday that he could start the following Tuesday and wanted half of the cost up front. We paid him on Sunday half of the cost. On Sunday he said we paid to late and said he scheduled another job for Tuesday so he could do it on Thursday. On Wednesday he showed up without any equipment and said he would be back on Thursday. At 3:00PM on Thursday he emailed us saying he was running late on a job and didn't know when he would get here. He never showed up. He emailed on Friday and said he would have the job completed on Wednesday of the following week. Showed up on Wednesday at 10:30 worked an hour and left saying he was sick. He was also complaining about not being able to find good help. He emails us and said he could give us half our deposit back, we told him no we would like him to finish the job and to let us know when he could complete the job. I had to contact him again asking him when he could complete the job. Said he would be there Thursday morning and Friday morning to complete the job. Showed up Thursday and worked 1 hour and left. On Friday he emailed and said he would not be there until Friday afternoon. At that point we told him not to bother coming back. The wife and I finished the rest of the trimming. He emailed us Friday night with an invoice for $90. My wife emailed him back and told him we would pay it over the weekend. On Sunday he sent us a threatening email about the invoice not getting paid, in addition he had sent the invoice 3 additional times over the weekend. We did pay the invoice on Sunday as we committed to do. Would not recommend him to anyone not very reliable in keeping commitments. Over promises and under delivers."
