"Removal of a huge Silver Maple that had already lost limbs. Remaining limbs were hollow and I was worried about them coming down too. Had been wanting to drop this tree for several years but was put off by the cost quotes from other services. James took on the project for a reasonable cost and did an excellent job. Customer service was top notch. Highly recommend Revved Up Tree Service."

"100 % Satisfied with Treewerx! I would recommend this business to everyone and will use their service again. If you need trees removed this is the company to go with. We had several bids and they provided the best price. Their service was excellent. Originally we weren't scheduled until mid-August but they had a cancelation and fit us in earlier. They finished in hours and the clean-up was spotless."

"Jayden and his crew did a fantastic job removing old poles (at least 10 poles, some 10-15+ foot in height and required extensive digging) and also removing dead trees along with hauling all of the debris away. I highly recommend Jay’s Lawn and Lanscape as they are professional, reliable and amazing at what they do!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Burning a tree stump can be effective, but it comes with safety considerations and isn’t always best for every situation. It's essential to check local regulations and assess the safety risks involved. Stumps that are near wooden structures or other non-moveable flammable objects aren’t good candidates for burning due to the risk of the fire spreading. Alternatives like grinding or a DIY stump rotting project might be safer and quicker for getting the job done.

Some people prefer to leave or even carve a leftover stump, but we recommend removing it if possible. You can often dig out smaller trunks with a shovel once they have died and dried out. You can have stumps professionally removed, or request a service to grind them down to ground level so they can be replaced with other landscaping or objects.

The cost of trees varies massively based on the size of the tree and the species. A small Colorado spruce can cost as little as $30, but a golden rain tree of the same size can cost $90. Large trees can cost $1,500 or more, depending on their species and height.

A tree branch should start to form roots in about three months. It can take about a year for a tree branch to develop roots strong enough to go in the ground. For best results, start several branches because, no matter how closely you follow instructions, they won’t all form roots. Compost any that aren’t thriving.

Unlike some fruit trees, such as apple, sweet cherry, or pear that require at least two trees for pollination, most peach trees are self-pollinating. This means you can plant just one tree and still expect it to produce fruit, typically within two to four years. For best results, consult with a local landscaper to choose the right peach tree variety for your specific climate, soil type, and yard layout.
