"Antonio was easy to get a hold of and talk to during the process of the project. He was able to answer any questions related to asbestos removal and redoing flooring. His crew is extremely knowledgable and professional. Carl was efficient with the task provided. He took the time to explain about the asbestos removal process, as well as recommendation to epoxy the basement flooring. I would highly recommend this company!"

"He had a cancellation and was able to come out the day I called. He verified that we actually didn't have mold growing in the one area. Since that area was connected to an indoor hot tub room, he checked the tub room just to verify that all was ok in there. He gave me some tips on preventing mold in that tub room and informed me about some other areas to watch (as this was in the basement and we have had water get inside with heavy rain) and I asked him about some marks on my basement ceiling. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely be calling if need for future services."

"Chris & Danielle came with their crew and cleaned the mold in the attic. They also cleaned all the windows and sealed them. Everything looks nice and clean, and they always kept us informed on everything they were doing. They gave us an estimate and even charged less than anticipated! Would highly recommend them for mold removal and clean up."

"We are so grateful for the excellent service provided to us by Moving APT. A special shout-out to their senior moving specialist, Ms. Rachel Johnson who have done a phenomenal job to us from beginning, in-between, and through the end of the moving process. She was so responsive with any questions we asked. She made sure that we feel valued and have assured us that we will be taken care of. True enough, she was always there to answer any questions. She made sure that we were followed up by the dispatchers and that we have received a call from the moving company driver/owner who will pick up our goods. She never left us during the entire moving process. We were scammed by the first moving company we hired, so we were skeptical at first. However, with every detailed information she has provided us, from the start of the inquiry, we already feel that we are in good hands. She was very professional, prompt, responsive and kind. She even went above and beyond her duties by drafting me a letter that I may use to demand our money back from the first moving company that tried to scammed us. The movers and drivers that picked up and dropped our goods belong from two different companies. All I can say is that these guys took excellent care of our items. We got all of our furnitures and boxes securely and safely here in SC just the way they were wrapped/packed the first time from CA. Thank you so much,, Moving APT! May God continue to bless you and all your staff in your future endeavors!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Moving APT to those who are planning to relocate out of state."

"Aero Environmental goes over and above the expected. They left the work space extremely clean. They were completely reliable and trustworthy. Although their bid was lower than other bids, I'm sure their work was superior. If I needed this work done, I would hire them again in a heart beat!!"

Al's men arrived on time and ready to work. They were very courteous and went to work right away. The team leader had been informed about the job to be done and price that had been quoted. Their were no discrepancies.

The leaves were from a large wooded lot and had been left in a very large pile all winter making them hard to pick up and bag. The men performing the work did not complain and kept at the job until it was complete.

"Neal contacted me promptly after I expressed interest through the Angi app. Although I was out of town at the time, we were able to coordinate a visit for shortly after my return. There was some initial confusion regarding the payment process, as the link to pay came from a different number than their typical communication channel. However, I eventually received the correct link on the day of the scheduled visit and completed the payment. When Neal arrived, he was on time, courteous, and appeared knowledgeable. He set clear expectations, and at that point, I was very satisfied with the service. He performed the inspection, took air samples from several areas in the basement, and informed me that the samples would be submitted to a lab for analysis. After the visit, Neal continued to provide updates, stating that the lab results were delayed. Once he received them, he sent me a few screenshots that appeared to be excerpts from a lab report. He informed me that one room had failed, but he did not clearly explain what that meant. He also sent a quote with a breakdown of estimated costs to remediate the mold via text. Because the screenshots showed spore counts by mold category, I conducted my own research and did not find the results to be especially alarming. I requested the full lab report in order to better understand the findings. I was particularly concerned because one of the screenshots he sent had the heading Dining Room, even though he only took samples from the basement. This raised doubts as to whether the results were actually from my home. Despite multiple requests, Neal did not provide a complete copy of the lab report. He claimed there wasn t really a formal report just numbers and words even though the screenshots he sent clearly came from some kind of report. I reiterated that I would like to see the full version, but received no further documentation. After about a week of follow-up attempts, I tried texting the same number I had used previously, but received an automated reply from Angi stating that the number was no longer valid. The contact number I had also did not match what is currently listed in Angi, and I was left without a way to resolve the issue or receive the report I had paid for. I have attached the screenshots I was given, including a screenshot of the estimate I was given for remediation of the mold."

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

No, you cannot throw away a bottle of ammonia or ammonia-based cleaner in your regular garbage. Instead, dilute it and pour it down the drain or dispose of it in the trash as a neutralized solid material. You can also contact local chemical companies to see if they’ll accept unused containers of ammonia since it does not expire.

Popcorn ceilings have fallen out of popularity for several reasons, though opinions on them can vary. The primary drawbacks include an outdated appearance, difficulty with cleaning and maintenance, and potential health risks, as ceilings installed before the 1990s may contain asbestos. As design trends have shifted toward sleeker, more modern finishes, many homeowners now prefer smooth ceilings for their clean look and easier upkeep. However, popcorn ceilings do offer some benefits, such as excellent acoustic properties for noise reduction and the ability to hide imperfections. Some also appreciate their retro charm or find them to be a cost-effective solution. Ultimately, whether they are "bad" depends on personal preference, safety concerns, and aesthetic goals.

Mushrooms do not harm your yard. In fact, they can actually help improve your lawn health by decomposing woody organic matter in your soil, and breaking it down into nutrients that feed your grass and plants.

Yes, it is possible to over-dehumidify a house by removing too much moisture from the air. This can create an overly dry environment that negatively affects those with respiratory or skin issues, and may cause your skin, hair, and sinuses to feel dry. However, this is unlikely to happen with most modern dehumidifiers, as they are equipped with moisture sensors and adjustable settings. These features allow the unit to pause automatically when the desired humidity level is reached, preventing the air from becoming uncomfortably dry. In contrast, older or more basic dehumidifiers left running for too long could potentially over-dry the air. To avoid this, aim for a balance between removing excess moisture and maintaining a comfortable environment. You can often monitor your home's humidity levels using a modern thermostat for guidance.

Mold mites will usually not go away on their own, as long as there continues to be a source of food for them. To ensure that they go away and to keep them from returning, you'll need to get rid of the mold or any other food source. Even if you successfully remove an infestation, more mites are likely to return if you don't get rid of the mold.
