"We are very pleased with the work done by the Monachos Cleaning Company. They responded quickly to my initial text and it was easy to work out the terms and schedule the appointment They worked efficiently and smoothly did all the tasks we requested plus general straightening up! They picked things up, cleaned underneath and replaced our items accurately. They were pleasant to work with and came prepared to communicate clearly. We will call on them again for our spring cleaning!"

"I have had LK Cleaning clean my home for over a year now. She is very thorough, pays attention to detail, she will clean something and if she is not happy with how it looks, she will redo it. If there is a special area you need to have cleaned, she will take the time and add it in to her cleaning routine. She is always on time with her arrival and will spend a minimum of 6 hours to do the monthly cleaning of my 2000sf home. I have known the quality of LK Cleaning as she has cleaned other members in my family’s homes for years! You will not be disappointed with how clean your home will be after LK Cleaning cleans your home."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Some housekeepers bring their own cleaning supplies and equipment, while others expect you to provide them. Always clarify this detail before hiring, as it can affect both the overall cost and the types of products used in your home. If you have specific preferences for certain brands or eco-friendly products, discuss these needs upfront to avoid misunderstandings.

To keep your fridge’s water dispenser sanitary, aim to clean it once every three to six months. Routine cleanup will promote better water flow, cleaner water, and a well-functioning dispenser in the long run. Your dispenser may have an alert system that lets you know when it needs cleaning.

Property management companies provide services such as tenant screening, rent collection, property marketing, coordinating cleaning or repair services, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.
