"We purchased Wasco Windows for our entire house many years ago. We recently had warranty repair on 2 windows. Steve was on time for the appointment and ready to work. He fixed both spring issues right away. He commented that the windows still look great...which I agree with."

"My windows were so inefficient I couldn’t get the temperature above 63° in the winter. I used to put plastic on the windows and the wind would blow the plastic. Lol. Also there was a significant sound improvement living near Highway 441. Installation was bing bang boom and finished within a couple hours. (Installed 5 Slider WINDOWS Fall 2018)"

"First, Bob [Provider Name Removed] took the time to explain all aspects of what is causing the mold in our crawl space. His explanation was consistent with the mold testing specialist/microbiologist we hired. The options for turning our crawl space into a mini basement were in-line with what our microbiologist said. The installation team was great to work with. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and respectful of our property. They cleaned up all the post project debris too. We are very happy with our fully enclosed crawl space that doubles as lock-and-key storage. We highly recommend the entire Basement Repair Specialists team."

Window Door Contractors questions, answered by experts

Options include fiberglass, aluminum, and pet-resistant screens to suit different needs.

Yes, you can add a screen door to most door frames. The screen should be able to fit standard-size door frames, so unless you have an unusually sized door, you shouldn’t have an issue. Just make sure to properly measure the frame. When in doubt, it’s best to let a pro take care of this task for you so it’s installed correctly.

If you’re not an experienced DIYer, consider hiring a local patio repair contractor to rescreen your porch or sunroom. Unless you’re only repairing a small rip or hole, this project is not an easy job. A professional can also make recommendations for materials that will work best for your porch.

The most affordable way to screen in a porch is to add a base track system to an existing wooden frame. The whole process should cost around $2,000 for supplies, depending on the size of your porch. It’s much pricier to build a screened-in porch or sunroom from scratch—and you’ll probably need to hire a contractor for a project like that.

Common problems include leaks, broken glass, and damaged frames. Regular maintenance prevents extensive damage.
