"Our rental home had a terrible bathroom. It was literally falling apart.  David remodeled it completely and did beautiful tile work on the walls and floor.  He has great ideas, but is not pushy about them.  He is punctual, friendly, and you feel safe with him in your home.  His prices are completely reasonable, and his work is just amazing!

"They had a scheduling conflict but came through on time regardless. Really great quality work. Near perfection on the drywall, you can't find a seam or nail hole anywhere. If you are looking for a reasonably priced drywall team who will do it right, this is the company. Small, customer oriented and ready to do it right."

"They removed drywall that was saturated with sewer water, removed part of the carpet that was ruined, dried out the basement and scrubbed the cement walls to remove any spores.  The whole process took less than a day and I was very pleased with the results.

Drywall questions, answered by experts

Yes, it matters which side of drywall you use. One side is smooth, and the other is rough. The smooth side should be facing outward, toward the room, while the rough side should be hidden and facing the studs and framing of the house. The smooth side will be easier to apply tape, joint compound, and, later, paint to.

Whether it’s better to screw or glue drywall depends on your specific budget and project timeline. Professional drywall installers are more likely to use screws and fasteners than adhesives, but it takes longer. But if you are DIYing your drywall installation, glue is a perfectly fine choice if you’re willing to pay extra for adhesive.

Whether you apply the drywall mesh before or after drywall mud depends on the type of patch it is. For self-adhesive patches, you’ll put the patch down first and then coat it with mud. Mesh patches that are not self-adhesive will require you to put mud down first and then press the mesh into it, followed by additional coats of mud.

Beadboard is a decorative element and lacks the structural integrity of drywall. It cannot hold much weight and is not meant to be used as an insulator or moisture barrier, like drywall is. In almost all cases, beadboard is placed over an existing wall surface which, in modern days, is usually drywall, but decades ago could have been wood paneling.

Choose a drill bit that is the size of the screws of the anchors you will use. You aren’t drilling through metal or concrete—hopefully—so any standard twist, wooden or all-purpose drill bit will work fine. It’s also important to have a screwdriver capable of drilling through the drywall and into the stud. The good news is most available drills, even the older ones, can do this with no issue.
