My insurance company actually asked we forbid fireplace use. This unit will heat the entire apartment eliminating need for space heaters. I Felt like Cascade helped me dodge a bullet from another company trying to dump their inventory before the ban. The cost was high to convert 2 fireplaces to sealed gas units but the units are attractive and solved the issue of having to do expensive chimney and box repairs in order to have wood fires. Also solved the fact we never used them cause it was too much of a pain to go get wood and tend it. Now.... flip a remote and voila fire and heat all in a sealed unit and you donâ t have to worry a guest will try to cook shmores in the fire."
