"Excellent service. They were prompt, courtous and did a good job. Although my roof was in great shape, they did everything to let me know that they checked everything that they should have and that I wouldn't need to worrry about my roof for some time.
I would highly recommend and would use them again!

"They arrived on the date promised. This was probably more difficult than most jobs they do since it was inside the wall, but it was still completed in the same day along with a second job, installing a new exhaust duct for our hot water heater. We were very pleased with how well they kept the dust down. This is very dirty work, don't be deceived, but they tried to keep it down as much as possible. They helped with moving some furniture, laid down drop cloths, put up plastic to seal off the living room where they were working and cleaned up afterwards. Best price we found for doing this job. I can't speak to whether his prices are the lowest, but he doesn't charge a Franklin Mint! Good job, good price, good, hard-working crew. He made sure the job was done to our satisfaction when they completed. (I had to reschedule with him once, Chris was very gracious and accommodating) This is one of the FEW reputable contractors I have dealt with in Washington State. I would not only Absolute Chimney again, but recommend to anyone needing this kind of work done. Highly recommended!"

"Agron evaluated our roof and how it was a poor quality job from the original construction. He offered us options including a simple fix (which due to the original construction probably wouldn't last) or to replace that section of the roof with a proper installation. We opted for the proper installation and it looks great and we feel good for that area of the roof (other areas could still be a problem as he noted, but we will deal with those areas as needed). They were also great at cleaning everything up and making sure we were satisfied with the state of the yard (after some bushes had slight damage). Overall I was very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to use them again if we need roof work."

"Contacted them and spoke to a lovely person to get the estimate scheduled. They went to our property and had a nice interaction with the tenant. Called on 5 different occasions after to find out the price/when they could do the job and never received the bid (which I was supposed to get within an hour the last time I spoke with someone). Can't speak to the work as none, unfortunately, was performed."

There are two common rebuilds of a chimney: partial and full. Partial chimney rebuilds are mostly done above the roof or the top few courses of a chimney, which generally also requires a new crown. Full chimney rebuilds consist of completely rebuilding the fireplace and chimney. This service consists of demolishing the outer layer of brick on a chimney system and adding a new crown. With a full rebuild, the firebox, smoke chamber, and hearth do not typically have to be replaced. Chimney rebuilds are required when the chimney is leaning, has extensive masonry damage,or vertical cracking has occurred.

Chimney caps may be installed by a few different professionals, including a chimney sweep or a mason that specializes in fireplaces and chimneys. A gas fireplace technician is the best person to install a chimney cap on a gas log fireplace vent to be sure the cap is appropriate for the application.
A chimney cap costs about $300 on average. The prices range from about $75 to $1,000, depending on the material, size, any repairs needed, and if your chimney cap requires custom fabrication. Chimney caps are usually made from galvanized steel, copper, or stainless steel. Additional costs may include hiring a chimney sweep to clean the chimney before a cap is installed.
Yes, it’s worth capping a chimney. Here are several reasons to install a chimney cap:
Keep out rain, snow, wildlife, and other debris
Help prevent chimney fires
Reduce your chimney’s exposure to moisture
Maintain your chimney flue liner
Help reduce energy bills by helping regulate your home’s temperature
Typically, a chimney cap will last from three to 25 years. This wide range is due to variables like climate, the material the cap is made from, and how often you use your fireplace. Regular inspections and maintenance can help extend the life of your chimney cap.
The best style of chimney cap for a brick chimney is one that fits tightly around the brick top of the chimney. The cap should have a screen to fully enclose it to keep animals out. The best materials include stainless steel, copper, or aluminum that fit tightly or are custom fabricated for a perfect fit on your chimney.
