"On Thursday, July 17th, I was approached by a young man who had done some asphalt paving for a neighbor. He said they had some asphalt left over and wanted to make me a "great deal" at $35 per yard but not to let my neighbor know. Turns out that was just a shady sales ploy. I was right in the middle of brake job on a truck and misunderstood his offer. That's on me as I was distracted and didn't pay attention or watch these guys. At one point they asked where to put the extra gravel they had after digging down to make room for the aspalt. My brother was visiting with his 5th wheel and we couldn't put it where I actually needed it, so I told them to just put it on the side of the 5th wheel and we'd deal with it later. When we attempted to start moving the gravel, we discovered it was full of asphalt and I'm talking HUGE chunks. It looks like they maybe cleaned some of the equipment and dumped it on the ground and then covered it with our gravel. There was no way I could move it on my own. Luckily I have some great friends and neighbors who brought over a backhoe and we were able to break all the asphalt up and remove it and then get the gravel spread out where we needed it. The main area they laid turned out good, I have no problems with the quality of the job they did. They seemed to be a good team and worked quickly and efficiently. The problem I have with them is there sales pitch (they gave my neighbor a far better deal than my "great deal") and the huge mess they left for us to clean up. With the experience I had with them, I would not recommend them. They use deceptive sales practices and if you don't keep an eye on them, you could end up with a big mess to clean up."

He removed our old patio and buit us a much larger concrete patio as well as a new walkway around the side of the house at a competitive price, and I intend on hiring him for any future concrete projects I need done."

"Mack and Sons? More like Crack and Sons. Prompt bid and scheduling were a plus. Communication leading up to job completion was exceptional. Afterwards I was treated like a one night stand and never talked to again when I brought up issues with the quality of work. If being ghosted for months on end, yelled at by the owner at 8pm on your door step while you're putting you're trying children to sleep, you like to buy once cry twice , and have a love for substandard work then this is the business for you. Yelled at on your own property at night? I asked they remove pictures of my property and the work they did from their Facebook page as they didn't do a good job and it's not representative of the quality of their work. I also added that it's comical that they claim to support veterans but have treated multiple veterans in our community poorly. If the Veterans Administration were a concrete company it would be Mack and Sons. That elicited a response and I was actually happy to see the owner roll up at 8pm onto my driveway, Maybe they're going to fix this. I let her know that it's bedtime for the kids but the concrete they poured is right around the corner and she can look at it there. "I don't care about the concrete." I guess I wouldn't care either if I already had taken the money and done a poor job. A polite you need to leave the was met with a no followed by tears and shouts. Apparently as a veteran, I don't know anything about veterans. I laughed so hard in DD-214 that I coughed up black stuff from being near burn pits during my deployment to Iraq. Alas, the comedy routine didn't last long and after 3 more requests to leave my property, I had to use my big boy voice to get the owner to leave. I would say it's safe to say that they won't be resolving any issues with their work."

"All interactions in the job bid, approval and scheduling were friendly and professional. Dustin and Jaime did an awesome job!!! They arrived on time, went over the job in detail with me, and then went to work. As the job progressed they kept me informed of any issues that arose and made sure I was happy with the process.
