Garret provided a fast quote for my project which was very reasonably priced. He took time to answer my questions with fast turnaround for responses. His availability was also very quick, and I wanted my project done as soon as possible to meet other deadlines. Garret and Larry showed up on time and were very courteous and professional, and respectful of my property in their prep work and during the concrete pour. They both answered my questions and explained the project details, along with follow-up that was required. I highly recommend Northwest Concrete Cutting for anyone needing a concrete pour.

Vince Conwell and his employee did a good job. He was very professional. It's not a big job not really solved our problems. I called a number of companies listed on Angie's and I was so glad to find Vince's company. I would hire his company again if I need to (hope not though :-) )

NW Concrete Cutting did an excellent job. They came out to my home promptly to bid the project. They cut precisely where we needed them to and they worked well to coordinate with our plumbers. Then they cleared all the concrete chunks out afterwards. The pricing was fair and we would definitely use them again.

They were very thorough, and even rearranged their schedule to accomodate an issue that arose (our fault, not theirs) with the drain that was being installed.  I appreciated the concern they showed in respecting the space they were working in and their willingness to break up the job so that we could have a plumber repair a clogged pipe that NCC had identified.

Although they used the right machines to avoid any overcuts in the corners, but we still ended up with one overcut. It is not a large one but I would have rathered not have any. Additionally, while they were breaking away the concrete with the sledge hammer, a crack resulted unto the concrete patio that was meant to stay behind. I understand that such accidents can happen because of the hard nature of the concrete, so I was not upset about it.

I needed to have my crawlspace entrance widened to accommodate a new furnace. For starters, the wood frame around the entrance, nailed to the concrete foundation, would have to be removed. Additionally, a few inches of the concrete wall would have to be removed to make the opening even wider. The work was complicated by the fact that the entrance was surrounded by a small aluminum enclosure, which made things pretty cramped.
The two NCC employees (Garret and another) arrived on time. They removed the frame with a large pry bar. They also made a clean 20" vertical cut through the 8" concrete wall. When they were done they made sure I thought the opening was large enough for the furnace. In the end, we concluded that the aluminum enclosure would also need to be removed. They were willing to do that too, but they didn't have a reciprocating saw with them. They did advise me on how they thought it could be done.

Excellent.  Called to get estimates.  They came in right in the pack.  Based on Angies list recommendations we called them back to schedule the work.  We rescheduled to better accomodate their schedule, but it worked well for us.  They were a little late, but called to let us know that.  My wife coordinated this, but had to leave for 5-10 min while they were wrapping up.  When she came back, they were all cleaned up and waiting for her to pay them.   Job was well done.

It turned out that they had to do an extra cut for each window since our house has a single instead of double sill plate, but they didn't charge extra for that. The job took a day longer than planned but they were very reasonable about sticking to their quote.

I scheduled the job with Vince over email through Angie's list, and got a quote right away, just from my description of the work. Garret, one of Vince's team members, showed up right on time on the day of work, but informed me that I needed to enlarge the window well I had dug to expose the concrete, as well as to remove the existing basement window. I told Garret to go on to another job he had scheduled while I worked on that. Garret kept me updated throughout the day on his progress at the other job, and arrived later in the afternoon to do the cutting. It took all of 20 minutes to get a nice, clean cut. Vince and Garret were pleasant to work with and very responsive. I would recommend Northwest to anyone!

Vince scheduled the job himself and sent a crew of (2) to slab cut a trench in my pool deck. I had a suction leak in an uderground pool pipe very close to the skimmer. The guys had to be careful not to damage the skimmer, just expose the piping. The pool deck ended up being much thicker than originally anticipated but the result was a nice clean, straight trench that exposed the pipe I needed to replace. There was a small section of concrete that still needed to be removed very close to the skimmer so Vince came over himself with a roto-hammer and carefully removed the rest. I appreciated the fact that he took the time to make sure the skimmer wasn't damaged but that the pipe was exposed enough to re-plumb. I had a leak free suction line again the next day thanks to Vince and his crew.

Two men arrived about 8:30 am and they were finished and gone about 11 am. They made one cut across the driveway in the location I specified to separate the concrete to be removed for that which was to stay. They made one other cut to assist their efforts. The concrete pieces were loaded in their trailer and removed from my property. I paid the price previously estimated plus state sales tax, which brought the total with tax to 825.

I called 4 companies for quotes, but had to leave messages with all 4. Vince at Northwest Concrete Cutting called me back the same day and gave me a quote over the phone. I also got a quote from one of the other companies that called me back 2 days later. The other company's quote, also over the phone, was almost 4 times as much. I called Vince back that afternoon. It was a Friday and we set the job up for Tuesday. He called me Monday afternoon to set the time. Garrett came out to do the cutting. He was about 20 minutes late, but that is the only thing that wasn't perfect with this whole experience (and I am often late myself, so I didn't mind). He had to first cut the footing flush with the driveway and then cut again, to cut the wall. The cuts were straight and clean. Vince came later and helped take down the walls and load them into the trailer to haul away. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything in great condition. It took about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish. They were both very personable.

It was fantastic. The edge was totally straight and it looks better now then it did before. The guys were great. They were polite, considerate. I would definitley use them again and recommendthem highly. I called them after 5 and a guy named Vince who owns the company actually answered the ophone after 5. I called him on a weekend and he asnwerd the phone again.
