"It was very easy to set up a day and time. They came home in 2 days after my call. They repair the space that I asked and for that, they need it some carpet that I had in a walking closet. They took that out, repaired it, and he offer me for free a piece that match good in the closet. They were fast, easy and very convenient in price. He told me that he wants to see the clients happy, so he offers me lifetime warranty."

"We could not have been happier with work done by Ruben, Chris, and their whole crew. After meeting with over ten contractors, we chose All Floor Solutions to replace our baseboards and install new carpet throughout our 2nd floor. We chose All Floor Solutions because we trusted that Ruben and crew would do great work, and we felt their estimate was fairly priced for the project. Ruben was on site everyday actively managing the project to ensure its on time conclusion. Chris, Ruben Sr and the whole crew was very professional, courteous, and did exceptionably good work. With so many contractors to choose from, it can sometimes be hard to know which one you can actually trust to do great work and be fairly priced. Ruben and All Floor Solutions were not the cheapest we interviewed nor the most expensive, but their estimate was fair. And there weren’t any “surprise” charges at the end either - the price we’d agreed upon at the beginning was the price we paid at the end. I"

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can technically make a crawl space liveable, but the only way to do so is by converting it into a basement. While some crawl spaces are big enough to walk through and store large items, they lack appropriate insulation and space to be liveable.

There could be several reasons why your carpet padding has adhered to the floor. Some of the most common reasons include:

  • There was intentional gluing or stapling to the surface.

  • The polyurethane and floor bonded over years of wear.

  • Pet urine, spills, or other substances leaked through the carpet and created a sticky surface.

If the carpeting in the home has not been changed in a long time, clearing off the padding underneath could be difficult. Pet urine can wreak havoc on carpeting and the flooring underneath. If you plan to reinstall carpeting, remember to use proper cleaning techniques for removing pet urine odors to prevent future problems.

Yes, installing laminate over carpet could negatively affect the resale value of your home. It’s no surprise that homebuyers prefer flooring that someone has installed according to industry standards. Laminate over carpet may raise concerns about the quality and stability of the flooring, impacting the overall perceived value of the property.

Yes, carpets should be replaced after a house fire or significant smoke damage, even if they appear undamaged. Smoke, soot, particulates, and chemicals can penetrate deep into the carpet fibers and padding, making complete removal a complicated and time-consuming process. If water was used to extinguish the fire, it can also soak through the carpet and padding, creating a risk of mold and mildew growth. Due to these challenges and potential health risks, replacing the carpet is the safest and most effective solution.

In most cases, laminate flooring is better for people with dust or other allergies as laminate is easier to clean. Carpet can trap pollen and other allergens, allowing them to be kicked up into the air again with foot traffic. Consult your flooring specialist about the best types of carpet or laminate flooring to use based on your household member’s needs.
