He was fare in his pricinig and gave other recommendations but was honest on labor and materials to complete the job. I would hire him again."

"Modernized Exteriors seem to have built a decent deck for a decent price but in a somewhat sloppy and dishonest way. First, they left hundreds of pieces of debris including over 100 nails, screws, and other fasteners, and hundreds of pieces of the old deck lying around, including some pieces over six feet long, many with embedded nails sticking out. For months, nearly every time my daughters went out to play they came back with a handful of nails and screws. Second, the old deck had a notch through which the gutter downspout passed to reach the drain in the ground. Instead of cutting a notch for the downspout, they just tossed it behind a bush allowing the gutter to empty directly onto the deck. They promised a 12-month warranty, saying they'd come out to correct any defects. When I mentioned the disconnected gutter they initially said they'd fix it, but then ignored my follow-up messages when I asked them to actually do it. So they may not honor their promises."

"James Millions presented himself as a General Contractor that would take on the full project. It was not changed from the original. He was just trying to make more money. He showed up at the job drunk every day. I put a camera in the house to review him and he was drinking on the job and his employees and him were talking crap about me while on the job. he would tell me he?s at the job for eight hours. I would take pictures before he showed up and after it looks like he did no work while in the bathroom. Is a simple small bathroom remodel that has now turned into four months and I had to fire him. If you hire him pay attention to him, smelling like alcohol"
