"They are a great company to work with. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a fence repair. They did an unbelievably awesome job. They scheduled for 2 days and it rained the first day so they got it done all on the second day. The job consisted of 4 4x4's and 8 panels. The price was also reasonable. They also used screws instead of nails so the fence replacement should be stronger than the original fence. They were a very cheerful group of 3 guys and it was a joy to see them working together. JD also told me if anything goes wrong with the repairs to give him a call and he would see to it right away. Again, I would recommend them to anyone that needs a fence repair. I agree with their slogan, Fencing with pride."

Making a homemade pallet fence involves marking out the fence line and leveling the ground along it. Then, install metal or wooden fence posts that you slide the pallets on top of (two posts per pallet). Fasten them together with 2x4 wood boards that act as an extra layer, keeping the pallet fence secure.

The lifespan of a picket fence largely depends on its material. Wooden picket fences typically last 10 to 15 years with regular maintenance, while vinyl and composite picket fences can last 20 to 30 years or more due to their resistance to weather, rot, and pests. Metal picket fences often exceed 30 years, especially when properly coated to prevent rust or corrosion.

A well-maintained pipe fence can last anywhere from 20 to 50 years, depending on factors like material, climate, and maintenance. Galvanized or coated pipes resist rust and corrosion better than other alternatives, so they tend to last longer, especially in humid or wet environments. Routine maintenance, such as inspecting for damage, removing rust, and applying protective coatings, helps extend the fence’s lifespan significantly.

Check for gaps or weak spots where your dog could escape and seal them. Remove toxic plants, chemicals, and potentially hazardous items. The list includes cocoa bean mulch, which is harmful to pups if ingested.

It's also essential to provide shade and fresh water. You may want to consider installing a dog-friendly surface on concrete areas like artificial turf. Additionally, regularly inspect for potential hazards, such as sharp objects or broken glass. Most importantly, supervise your dog during outdoor time to ensure their safety.

No, fence posts aren’t always set in concrete. If you don’t want to use concrete footings for your posts, expanding foam is a popular alternative. Expanding foam and concrete each have certain pros and cons. For instance, foam is easier to install and more sustainable, but concrete is sturdier and less expensive.
