"I had Joe’s Yard Service redo basically my entire backyard and it turned out awesome. They took out an old concrete patio that was falling apart, removed the grass, leveled everything out, and put in a big paver patio. They also handled outdoor lighting, sprinklers, new grass, and added river rock along the side. Joe was super easy to work with the whole time. He always got back to me quickly and didn’t mind stopping by to explain things or walk through ideas. That made a big difference since this was a pretty big project. For a project of this size (around $32k), I felt like the pricing was fair. They got everything done pretty quickly, but more importantly it was done right. The quality shows. I also appreciated that Joe would point out ways to save money and put it toward other parts of the project instead of just upselling everything. Overall just a straightforward, honest guy and a hardworking crew. I’d definitely hire him again. Photos are some before and after shots."

"Although they used the right machines to avoid any overcuts in the corners, but we still ended up with one overcut. It is not a large one but I would have rathered not have any. Additionally, while they were breaking away the concrete with the sledge hammer, a crack resulted unto the concrete patio that was meant to stay behind. I understand that such accidents can happen because of the hard nature of the concrete, so I was not upset about it.

"Our poor old deck had seen better days. We contacted Andre about replacing it and we knew from the beginning that we contacted the right company- we got one bid only. Andre worked hard to get the job finished before winter. He was efficient, honest, and our deck is built well, looking like a piece of art. We’ll definitely hire AMP Construction for future projects."

Small jobs welcome

"Tanner was awesome to work with! He was quick to respond to the initial project inquiry as well as follow up questions throughout the project. He provided a lot of information and options for our project, which was developing a very long driveway, and offered solutions to fit our budget. The agreed upon timeline was met and done quickly to mitigate the expected inconvenience of having an inaccessible road during the process. We are thankful for Tanner and all the hard work he put into our project, despite the 100 degree temps and smoky days. Would definitely recommend!"

Patios questions, answered by experts

Yes, with custom measurements ensuring perfect fit and function.

Yes, it can be worth screening a porch if you live in an area with beautiful weather, since it allows you to enjoy your outdoor space longer in the spring and summer. The additional protected space may even attract more prospective buyers if you intend to sell—especially if you add seasonal features, like a ceiling fan for summer or a heater to winterize your screened porch.

An Arizona room may or may not count toward your home’s square footage, depending on local regulations and the specifics of the room, but generally does not get included in the total square footage. In many locations, a room needs to be built to the same quality as the rest of the home, have an integrated heating/cooling system, and be habitable year-round to count toward square footage.

A screened-in porch can add value to your home, but it won’t count toward the total square footage at an appraisal or when it comes time to sell. A screened-in porch is not fully enclosed, usable year-round, insulated, or heated or cooled, so it doesn’t meet the requirements of livable square footage in most locations.

The life span of your solarium will depend on the materials used and how much wear and tear the room experiences from the inside and from the outside due to weather. On average, you can expect your solarium to last anywhere from 10 years to 50 or more. In rare cases, such as with old estates, solariums can last over 100 years.
