"Some words that come to mind: knowledgeable, Quality work, Professional, Prompt, Trustworthy, Tidy, and Caring. I had an water leak/damage issue that resulted in removing my existing tile shower enclosure, pan, and the tile surrounding a jetted tub. After my first conversation with Josh, it was clear that he had a ton of experience and knowledge about the various approaches and products available. When he came over to evaluate my project, he made sure to understand the source of the water damage. Josh informed us of our options and explained in detail the project schedule. As he uncovered more water damage, Josh worked with me and my insurance company to accurately communicate the issues. This was a huge help. While completing the demolition Josh informed me of a couple "builder blunders" and fixed them before proceeding. This was above and beyond the job he was hired to do, but it testament to his work ethic - do it right the first time or don't do it at all. Once all the prep was completed, Josh worked his magic and installed a water-tight tile shower enclosure that I'm confident will last a lifetime. Also, sa father of young children, Josh understands the importance of a clean job site and a safe environment for kids. Josh knows that his job site is your home and I was very impressed with the extra effort to keep it clean and safe at the end of each day. Excellent customer service, quality work, and attention to detail is what sets Castle Rock Tile apart. I highly recommend Castle Rock Tile Company and Josh Agee. We plan to have Castle Rock Tile back to "face lift" two other bathrooms."

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Edgar and his crew did a fantastic job of remodeling our 69 year old bathroom! Communication was great and the job was completed in the time frame he stated. Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The rule tells you how to cut tile to install it in a corner. The 3/4/5 rule recommends that you should have 3 feet across on one straight line, four feet on the other perpendicular line, and 5 feet of length from the end of one of the lines to the other. You’re making a right triangle with the tile, and the hypotenuse (the line across from where the 3-foot lie and 4-foot line meet) should be 5 feet long.

The choice of whether to tile or use an acrylic tub surround is up to you and can be based on a number of factors, including aesthetics, cost, waterproofing, ease of cleaning, and maintenance.

Tile is a beautiful, classic bathtub surround choice; while tile installation cost is higher, it’s customizable and offers visual appeal. Tile is also harder to clean and presents waterproofing problems because of grout lines. Acrylic surrounds can be more affordable, don’t require much maintenance, and are easier to clean. However, they aren’t usually as visually appealing and may need to be replaced if they become damaged.

Grout and caulk are commonly used together, especially in bathrooms. Grout goes between the tiles and keeps them sturdy and in place on the walls or floor. Caulk goes in corners or where two different materials meet (like where the bathtub meets the tile) to create a waterproof seal. However, they are not interchangeable—you shouldn't use caulk to adhere tile and shouldn’t use mortar if you need a waterproof seal.

The easiest tile size to install is large tiles, and they’re easier to install than small tiles—the job is faster and simpler when there’s less placing, adhering, and grouting to do. However, when tiles get really big, they’re more difficult to handle, cut, and fit. Standard floor tile sizes are 12-by-12 inches, 18-by-18 inches, and 12-by-24 inches.

Uniform spacing between tiles is important for a professional and clean appearance. To achieve this spacing, tile spacers should be placed between the tiles and left in place until the mortar hardens and the tiles are secure. You can use X-shaped spacers vertically in between the tiles and laid flat at the corners.
