David, Fernando, and his team was one of the best experiences I have ver had with a contractor. I never once felt like they were taking advantage of me, in fact, they would work hard to find ways to save me money. It started to feel like the team was a part of my family, as the security with them was one of a kind. I would beyond highly recommend this company, and already have. I went through 3 other bids, and I was set on Hacienda before they even left the initial session.

Exceptional Experience - Dave helped us create a backyard oasis by transforming what was an empty back yard for our vacation home near the Rio Verde Foothills of Scottsdale and now we have a custom firepit, full size pool with diving board and a putting green. We've worked with several contractors over the years and no one has been as great to work with as Dave and his team. His attention to timeliness and continuous communication was beneficial to our long distance back yard project. Dave is trustworthy and I would highly recommend him for any outdoor work you are considering.

David and his very hard working crew took the backyard of our new home purchase from dirt, rocks and a few pavers to a complete killer environment. David designed an outdoor fireplace, full Travertine and astro turf, and a covered outdoor kitchen with BBQ and Tappanyaki. David and his crew handled new gas line, electrical, lighting additional landscaping with irrigation system --- on time and within our budget! David and his whole crew were so easy to communicate with, handling our never-ending changes easily. This is by far my best rxperience with a contractor ever.

First impressions is key for us and we knew right off the bat David would be someone great to work with. We had our existing pool reimagined (which was a feat in itself because come to find out there was 2 layers of concrete to drill through) and we had our patio redone to combat drainage issues. We had pavers installed, a French drain installed, rebuilt a pony wall and replaced two wood pillars and replaced with brick. David communicated with us every step of the way on the daily. He also had great design ideas. Heâ s very easy to work with. We had a couple of changes that he took in stride. :). I have to address his team as well. His team is amazing. They showed up every day on time and worked very hard to get the project done ahead of schedule. They were very professional and polite. . David and the team went above and beyond on our project and we couldnâ t be happier. So much so we added more to our project. I feel David and his team are like family. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hacienda Pool and Outdoors for all your pool and Landscaping needs . We will definitely be calling them to pave my driveway.ð

We are so happy with the work David and his crew did in our yard. They expanded our patio and added walkways, RV hook-ups for water and power, and driveway improvements. It is beautiful and came in on budget and on time. He was very patient as we worked out schedules and made the final decisions on materials, and everyone who worked with him was so nice. Dave and his team are incredible! This was a HUGE back yard renovation (we had a 1/3 of an acre cul-de-sac lot that was 20-yr old plain and boring grass, shrubs, and rock) and they turned our yard into an absolute oasis! The built-in kitchen/grill, gas firepit, paver walkways everywhere and travertine patio are gorgeous surrounded by plants, trees and just a bit of lawn... the complete package! I met Dave completely by chance and was so impressed with his friendly and thoughtful approach to this project we've saved for years to take on. The team was fantastic - friendly and exceptionally skilled craftsmen who tackled each job with perfection. We enjoyed getting to know Dave and Beto and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for to renovate their yard (our pool is next!). The value, quality of work, timeline to complete, and customer care is superior.

We hired Hacienda for a major backyard and pool remodel. Subsequently, we discovered that this company is actually a one-man show with all the labor subcontracted out, so, he has influence (through the foreman), but, no control over the workers. David is a great salesman and is accommodating, but he, very frequently, forgot things that were discussed, never wrote things down, and/or did not communicate them clearly to the foreman. It got to the point where I had to write lists for the workers (who were all really good guys) so everyone was on the same page and issues were dealt with. As the project went on progress slowed to the point where over the last 3 weeks often nobody showed up for days at a time unless I called. Be prepared to babysit your project - The pricing was fair and at the end of the day we were pleased with most of the work, but it was a frustrating and fairly negative experience. I do not recommend...

David gave a generous military discount and is an honorable businessman through and through. We are extremely happy with the finished product. We will only be doing business with him moving forward.

David and his team did amazing work at our home in Tempe in February and March 2020. The pool remodel adding a Baja step, resurfacing with pebbletec, and resurfacing the pool deck to travertine! They were on time, on budget and we enjoyed our new outdoor space all summer. We really could not be happier!

Great work and finished on time. No extra costs incurred without our permission. We are very happy with the finished work. Love the new in floor cleaning system.

We considered several contractors for our pool remodel. Hacienda Outdoors was willing to work with our ideas and give us the finished product we wanted. David and Humberto were excellent to work with. We got a quality pool remodel for a price that worked for us.

David had lots of great ideas, helped us develop a vision and then executed against it. His team came when they said they would, were polite, easy to have around the house and cleaned up after themselves every day. The transformation is amazing. Our back yard went from a C- (waterline tile falling off, stamped concrete decking coming up, not enough space) to A+ Scottsdale high end resort quality. We've spent more time there in the last month than in the last 10 years because it's so great. David put us in touch with a general contractor who did some structural work before the deck and pool started. The completed project is more than we could have hoped.

David and his team transformed a severely neglected pool in the back yard of our new house into a wonderful modern pool and deck. The travertine and water features (mini-towers with scuppers) are fantastic. In fact, it looks very similar to the pool/outdoor area at the apartments we just moved from. David and his team worked on a large project for us, not only remodeling our pool, but redoing our deck and front entry with stone, removing a free standing spa, replacing drip lines and adding lighting to our front and back yard. He had great ideas that we implemented into the plan. They came through on a promise to have everything completed by a certain date so we could celebrate my husband's 6oth birthday, which took approximately a month and a half to complete. David did a great job of smoothing out all of the irregularities we experienced with suppliers during this project, and made sure the patio was done with the highest quality. Fernando is a seasoned craftsman, and directed his team to deliver excellent results. Every big job has its own share of problems, but it is how the owner and the project leader communicate and react to those problems that dictates the end result. David and Fernando nailed it, and the patio is truly beautiful. I'm looking forward to using them again next year to install more travertine and do some mortar work. Thanks, guys!
