"My wife and I live in a beautiful farmhouse built in 1902 complete with a barn converted to a shop. I wanted to build a 20x30 covered equipment storage area where I could keep my tractor, riding mower, trailer, etc. in order to free up space in my shop. I have built structures in the past and felt confident that I could design and build what I needed. I knew I definitely wanted a wood structure that would aesthetically blend in with the rustic vibe of the property. A metal carport was definitely out.
