AMPRO Builders LLC. has a total disregard for the customer and very shoddy work. I had hired them initially for roofing and it took the owner a full year to address and fix the fact that his employees put my skylights on backwards when they reroofed my home. I had to write a POOR review for the owner Robert Chatham to even pay attention to my calls to his rep. which went unanswered for the entire time . I had the siding of the home also replaced during this period by the same AmPro and they job was performed while I was at work (They put hardy plank on without it even being sealed). I came home and found that when the siding was replaced, it was replaced so that there is a gap that needs to be fixed as this will allow the elements and mold to start on the inside of the siding. When They skylights were fixed I was told that AmPro would take care of the siding replacement failure . The failure was found by the painter when he saw the large gap at the bottom of wall where it should snug up to the cedar lap, but the builder put the siding on top of the first plank leaving a large gap opening on lower side at front end of my home. Robert Chatham showed up at my home and actually saw the shoddy work on the south side and front corner of my home and said he was the boss and would have it fixed. Then I heard nothing. I called Robert Chatham (Owner) and asked when the siding would be corrected as the winter (last year) was coming and he said he would do it when the weather was better and dry. This was last year (2023) the roof was put on a year before that and when they finally fixed the botched skylights and put them in correctly they had to scrape them as they had moss growing on them. WELL It's been DRY for a long time this summer and The Guy has answered one call and sent me to Voice mail after that without a return call or time frame to fix AmPro's botched siding repair. I will also send this to the BBB as I am done waiting. I do not recommend this Guy or his company ! AMPRO BUILDERS LLC.- Robert Chatham GM

The crew finished our roof in 10 hours. We have a 2000 sq ft house with a two car garage attached. We met with Leo and he explained the type of roofing available and what they would need to do from the plywood, ice and water membrane, underlayment, vented ridges, flashing and matching ridge cap. They replaced 4 skylights and installed our gutter covers. This crew was so efficient. They each new what their jobs were and from the moment their feet hit the ground they never stopped working. They put down protective tarps and cleaned up area around house when they were finished. The roof looks great. We chose a more expensive roofing but the basic bid was comparable to 4 other estimates we received. Couldn't be happier. What we thought would be a two or three day job only one day. Everything on time. Even received a senior discount.

Ampro Builders converted my covered deck into a beautiful windowed sunroom. It is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the quality of workmanship and materials. Rob, Mike, Ryan....thank you!

I submitted an estimate with a payment plan to just cover costs easier for my family. The quote went well and we decided to let Ampro take care of us. After a financial inquiry we were approved and signed paperwork. A month later after the project was completed I was then informed that my finances had not been approved and I got roped into a terrible interest/financing charge killing loan. Not what I signed up for, also on top of that the project manager overcharged me. He called back apologizing and had to wait another 2 weeks to get my refund via check. All in all satisfied with the product but the customer service was lackluster.

We took our time and got many estimates for our Queen Anne Victorian home, garage and cottage. Not your ordinary style of roofing project. We have had bad experiences in the past with contractors however by far, this company went above and beyond our expectations. The experience was exceptional thanks to Leo from start to finish. No high pressure sales tactics ,honest,kind,patient and understanding person. All of his crew very professional, quality work, clean up and responsiveness. Not to mention the owner Rob who is involved during the project. Top notch honest family company ! The roofs are beautiful I would absolutely recommend Ampro Builders and Leo's team to anyone who asks. Thank you Ampro team for bringing me peace of mind.

Ampro replaced the roof on my house,pavilion, and shed. The bid was very reasonable, the job was done quickly and professionally. From the moment we had gotten the quote for the job to completion they were very nice and caring. I was very impressed with it all.

Leo was very communicative and they were able to get to the job fast which was much needed dince the roof had leaks. They also do gutter installation so I'll be having them do that as well so I don't have to spend more time to find someone else.

They were very prompt and professional. The project was completed beautifully and cleanup was above what I expected. We are enjoying our patio cover everyday.

Ampro Builders LLc New Roof for customers Alan and Theresa Heim Roof Project began third week of September 2017. We just had our new roof completed by Ampro Builders and thought it was important to share our experience and our overall satisfaction level with the company in writing a review regarding dealing with it’s employees and most importantly the new roof itself. The project took approximately one week (7 days) to complete which we thought was fast considering the 4500 square feet and 10-12 pitch they had to contend with (see attached photo). We selected Ampro Builders over 3 other serious contenders after meeting with Manager representative Leo Redford. We liked his no nonsense style and level of knowledge and confidence in explaining exactly what we would be getting based on what we expressed we wanted in a new roof. Throughout the process, Leo was supportive (always almost immediately responded any time I texted or called him with a question) and continuously connected with me and the crew doing the work. The crew led by Jesus were nice, hard working, and cleaned up after themselves after every work day. They protected our shrubs and home siding without incident and left our yard and home exterior looking as good as it did when they first arrived. Some other examples of what we were impressed most with: 1. One of our window screens did get torn by a shingle (only about a four inch tear of the fabric) and Leo took both that screen and two others that were not torn but looked a bit worn with him and repaired the torn screen and replaced the fabric on the other two even though the crew did not damage it. 2. The contract refuse container driver accidently hit my basketball hoop bending the backboard. The driver quickly apologized for doing so and Leo worked with the company to replace the hoop with a new one that I should receive any day. 3. The working crew noticed how incorrectly the original roofers nailed the plywood in place and took the time to redo the nailing so the boards were nice and flat to place the shingles on. I expect to be impressed with the opening presentation from the company sales rep but my positive impression continued all the way through to completion. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the roof. We believe we have an outstanding roof, using outstanding materials, at a very good price with includes one of the best warranties on the market and will be the envy of our neighbors when they see it. I had a major roof project done. Needed old roofs removed, new gutters, new roof and some trim repair on my chimney. I got three bids. The bids were quite close. I decided to go with Ampro for a number of reasons. 1. I felt like the included things the other contractors did not include. 2. When I questioned the other estimators about their bids one of them promised to revise the bid but then did not follow up. 3. Ampro was the only contractor who did not require 50% payment up front. Ampro does not require payment until the job is complete and accepted by the homeowner. From the estimator "Leo" to the Forman "Jesus" everything was professional. Jesus was so patient and happy to answer my constant questions. Here is a man who is passionate about his work. If you need a roof please use Ampro. You won't be sorry.

Representative is very flexible and working with him was a pleasure. I received fantastic service and the company has the intangibles I look for in a contractor: Honesty and Integrity.

This was to replace an aging cedar shake roof with asphalt shingles. The job was originally scheduled to complete in 3 days. Instead it lasted 3 weeks. I cannot fault the company over this, however. They ran into incredible problems during the job, having to do with the way the cedar-shake roof was constructed. None of these could have possibly been foreseen - by me or by them. They did charge about 8.5% extra for this but it was fully justified. In fact had they charged more than that I wouldn't have been surprised. They had a crew here working into the night, day after day. And the men hated the job because of how difficult it had become - not your typical job, at all. Nevertheless they stuck with it and completed the job in a workmanlike manner. I'd use them again. Two reasons I didn't give five stars for work quality: They weren't quite so careful with our bushes and garden as they might have been. And the whole think of having to replace a roof bothered me to no end.

We were very pleased working with Ampro Builders starting with the price quote and a detailed explanation of the work to be done and throughout the entire roof installation process. Leo was very knowledgeable and made sure that all the work was completed as promised. The equality of their work was excellent.

We had multiple tube sky-lights installed with our original reroofing job by Ampro. The sky-lights leaked due in large part to the shallow angle of our 50’s style roof. Ampro went the extra mile to solve our problem. I am retired from a profession that values and knows how necessary great customer service is to a successfully run business. Ampro has been in business in our area for quite a while, and our experience with their work and crew speaks well of their longevity. We will gladly use and recommend their services in the future

I thought the price was way too steep. It was twice what I thought it would be. The cleanup job was probably 90 %. I was kept waiting two different times. for a total of 3 hours. I liked Leo and the crew of workers.
