"3Man Crew , with head man sitting in truck all day as he was injured some where else, he did not get out to check on the crew or the job.Even after the job was done ? The workers had all 3 doors torn apart instead of finishing one,this caused a hard time for our employees to come and go in a very busy School. The doors were installed nicely and work fine, even though it took all day to install 3 pre-hung doors , but a good job. The finish work and the calking were very bad,the worker who did the finish caulking did not know how to caulk and ran his finger down the caulk and got it spread all over the siding, so now we had to have paint matched to try and cover the bad caulk. Some one from South Tacoma Glass came out and looked at the bad caulking job ans admitted it look bad and was done wrong, this was on a Friday,he said they would send someone out to correct the caulking on Tuesday,but no one showed up. I called today 02-15-22 and talk with the company, they informed me they would do nothing to resolve this issue, I informed them I had to have paint matched to the siding at $75.00 a QT. nothing was said in return. I told since I had been in remodeling for over 50 years I knew how to correct their mistake , he said fine. So in conclusion So. Tacoma Glass offered to help,no reimbursement ,nothing in return. They were paid in full ,no delays , but not even a phone call back to us about their faulty caulking. This is a shame, the finish work is your signature , and they signed it very poorly. I know that employees can ruin your reputation, but so can the business by just ignoring you and hope you go away. Well we went away alright, we have lots more doors and glass to redo on another building, guess who wont be doing the job ! The install will be corrected and I will have to pay my maintenance his hourly wage $25.00 per hour plus material to repair South Tacoma Glass faulty finish work, such a a shame on what was a good installation,but very poor finish work."
