We gave them 3 requirements for the home gym mirror we wanted them to install: it should start
above the outlets, be 6 feet tall, and go wall to wall, left to right.
Michelle sent us a design that looked good to us and we signed off on it. When the installers came we realized that the mirror had a 2 inch gap on the left and right, instead of going wall to wall as we had specified. So I called Michelle.
She first told me that the 2 inches were necessary for the installation. That was not true. The installers had just told me that they only needed 1/2 inch on either side, so I told Michelle that. She then replied that if I didn't like the design I shouldn't have signed off on it. Only after looking at the design again did I see a small "2"RV" hand-written on both sides. How am I supposed to know
what "RV" means? The drawing of the mirror does not show the wall or the gap, and therefore it's really not obvious that there would be a gap. Michelle next said that if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay in full for the new parts and installation.
Although I do realize our mistake for signing off on the design, I think that above all it was her mistake for not having designed it according to our specification and for not making the differences in the design clear. She did not acknowledge her error, did not apologize, and did not offer a solution that would solve the problem.
The whole point of paying $1265 for a mirror was so that we would have a custom size going wall to wall. We considered buying a set of mirrors at Ikea for a fraction of the cost, but we didn't do it because we didn't want a floating look.
We are now stuck with a very pricey mirror we thoroughly dislike in our new custom house, and there is nothing we can do about it.

Order prompt on our placement, care taken in checking on selection to make sure order correct, scheduling prompt, installation appointment on time and workmanship very satisfactory.
I went with a different option than I had originally been considering based on a review of options with the experienced installer who came to give us an estimate. Very satisfied with appearance, installation, and performance and appearance since installation.
After I wrote this review I was contacted by Kartak Glass and the manufacturer of the coating on the glass. Not only did the company contact me they made an appointment and came to my house to check out my problem. Jim Baratto from Hydro Shield not only educated me on the product, he cleaned the entire shower and recoated the entire glass area.
Thinking back I must blame myself for not listening to KARTAK when they explained to me what the coating would or would not do. I am extremely impressed with both KARTAK AND HYDROSHIELD for following up on my report. Now that I understand the facts presented to me by Jim Baratto everything makes more sense. Thanks to both these companies and it shows me Angies List works. Thanks to you all!

We are overall happy with the job that they did for us.
The shower doors came out beautiful and we had expert installation.
We also ordered two large mirrors. The first time they came, the dimensions of the mirrors were not quite right.
Apparently the original guy who did the measurements miscalculated. They installers apologized & re-measured. After they left I called them back to express that I was concerned that the glass enclosure measurments might be also wrong & I didn't want any delays on the install for that. They said they would let the manager know of my concern. The same day the manager, Joel, called me to schedule to come himself re-measure everything. I thought that was very nice of them.
When they came back for the glass enclosure install & try a 2nd time on the mirrors, one of the mirrors had a chip on the side. They called the office & Joel said he would cut another one immediately & bring it right over. The 3rd time was a charm.
Everything was installed on that day. They took great care to make sure we were happy with everything. The installers are very competent and professional.
Once everything was done, it all came out lovely. We love our new bathroom!!
This is the true test of a great company. Problems may occur but it is how they resolve them that counts! I would use them again & highly recommend them.
