"When I called the owner I explained what needed to be done. He came out within 2 days. He was finishing a prior job and scheduled work for the following week. They did all the cleanup the first day , trimmed bushes, moved plants and planted new ones the next day, plus laid bark and then edged and mowed the yard. They were very thorough, cleaned up everything, and left me a beautiful yard."

It had a dust-bowl-era farmhouse feel, with flaking and chipping white paint, exposed concrete foundation, broken porch railings, and unused wires that needed to be removed. Greg was great about consistent communication as they encountered challenges and decision points. It meant a lot to us to be included in the ongoing plan, especially when we requested extra grinding to take off more old paint and some construction to bolster the rickety porch. "James and his crew at Cox Custom Remodeling did a great job with our bathroom remodel. Our house was built in 1900 and the nonstandard framing made things more complicated. His lead, Dan was particularly great, taking the extra time to understand components we picked that were new to him. James always had a positive attitude, showed up when he indicated and got things done. Low dust, protection for floors and respect for the rest of the house while the construction was going on. James also provided the best tile guy, Eugene, that did a fantastic job with natural stone and the complicated very fragile mosaic. We would definitely use Cox Custom Remodeling again. "Andrew is amazingly focused on customer service. He was very helpful in suggesting choices that cost the same but looked better than options I had been considering. The estimate was very accurate and the end bill was what I expected. There were some delays in the schedule when the suppliers I had chosen had delays; the suppliers said this is common during covid. If you are doing a remodel during the pandemic I'd recommend ordering the materials in advance. Orange Painting and Remodeling was very responsive to scheduling time around my schedule. The final bathroom is gorgeous!"

"I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! Eugene does great work, heâ s really responsive and communicative throughout the process, heâ s really professional, and he is very kind.
